5.0 out of 5 stars Love this caddie. Could not ask for more.
Love the exercise, but pushing my cart around for 18 holes was getting more difficult. I researched all the electric caddies and settled on the MGI Zip Navigator All Terrain. I made the right choice! absolutely LOVE it. I play on a VERY hilly course with considerable undulation and numerous steep embankments. The Navigator handles them all without tipping, slipping, crashing, racing downhill or having any problem handling the difficult terrain. I can see why Australian based MGI golf, after only 6 or 7 years in the US market has become a top seller. Customer service is also great. No waiting on hold for an hour. This is the unit to buy. No question about it. Don't bother looking elsewhere. It is wonderful to have a caddie that follows instructions, does not pester you with small talk and gets the job done.
5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile sturdy cart
Excellent golf cart. My husband and I bought 2. We walk a hilly course in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The carts navigate without tipping due to 4 wheels. Battery is light weight for easy charging. Numerous speed settings. Can use with remote or hold handles for a gentle pull on steep grades. Easy to assemble.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well Done Except for Accessories
I’ve used it for six rounds at two courses. The cart works well. Moves at a variety of speeds and follows remote commands well. Easy to operate - simple, elegant, sturdy. Remember to engage the fifth wheel. I’ve tipped it back over going uphill when I forgot. Battery seems good, like it actually will get through two rounds. And it’s easy to recharge in the garage overnight. Remote is rechargeable, too, and recharged quickly. The accessories are another story. The card holder is too small for the cards at both courses I play, so the card can fall out with bumps on the course. Pencils, too. I have lost four. The water bottle holder will not hold your bottle when the cart meets what I would call average bumps, holes, sprinkler heads, etc. I’ve tried two different sized bottles and both have hit the ground many times. I paid extra for the seat. It is just OK. I find my Clic Gear seat to be a better product but it can’t be attached to the electric cart.I wish there was on-board storage. I was spoiled by my Clic Gear. But I can’t push like I used to and this is a good option for walking without hard labor. My club pro says it’s the best of what they sell in the pro shop. That is an endorsement.Overall, I have been satisfied with it and have played better golf since using it as I am not as tired late in the rounds. Anything to play better golf, right?
4.0 out of 5 stars The good and the not so good...
Let's start with the positives. The MGI is extremely easy to set up. Basically put the wheels on, which took about 30 seconds in total, unfold the cart, add the scorecard holder, umbrella holder and cup holder, attach the battery and you're in business. Very easy to fold and unfold.Operationally, the cart is very responsive to the remote and is generally easy to control. It did have a problem on a wet hill and the wheels just spun, and it needed a bit of assistance from me pushing to make it up the hill. Going downhill the speed control kicks in so that was no issue. There was an issue on a side hill, and I'm not 100% sure if it was the cart or operator error. It made walking very easy and the battery on the 7 mile walk would have easily done another 18, if not 27 and the remote showed 100% at the end of the round. Now for the not so good. I switched my stand bag to a cart bag as suggested. My cart bad is a Callaway and I'd label that as the most disappointing part. Using the straps provided to attach the cart didn't fit the design of the bag and multiple times the straps came off the top, and bottom. It's frustrating in the middle of a round to need to reposition everything. Not sure if it's a ploy by MGI to get you to purchase their bag or not. The second thing that needs improving is the umbrella holder. I'm not a tall person at 5'11", and I couldn't fit under the umbrella easily without having to hunch over a bit as my head was consistently hitting the bottom of the umbrella. Looked on the MGI site and they have an "extender" so they recognize the problem. But, I have to pay for that and of course, they're not in stock, either.I'm sure after 3-5 rounds everything will be second nature but controlling it takes a bit of learning.ROUND 2 UPDATEA couple of takeaways to share from the second round with the MGI AT Navigator. Definitely much more natural controlling the cart. Did have an issue going up a somewhat steep hill. THe 5th wheel was fully extended yet the cart started to tip over. Caught it but still had some things spill out including the Garmin GPS from the GPS holder. The second item is the straps either need to be more adjustable or shorter. Used a different bag yesterday and the straps needed to be wrapped around twice. I think I'm going to do a modification and drill a couple of holes where the straps are now and put in bungee cords. That should provide the security that the bag will stay attached to the cart in any conditions.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfect!
Game Changer! First of all it arrived within 2 days. I ordered extra accessories which also arrived within 2 days. I'm a 54 year old male and need to exercise more. I always ride a cart, never walk. Using this cart is great! It's a whole new experience walking the course, really nice. I have my cooler attached and a speaker in one of the pockets of my golf bag. I walk down the fairway following the music. After my first full 18 holes I was worn out. Swing started suffering around 16th. But, that was just the first few games. Now, I'm feeling healthier and enjoying the game even more. It's one of the top 10 best things I've bought .
1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY
Not used 5 times and the battery is dead, it only turns left, and will not move all locked up. I had to walk it manually from the 6th hole because it went haywire. AWFUL PRODUCT.
Remote power cart
Description was correct. Cart works awesome
Love my zippy!
Love my zippy! Easy to assemble and disassemble. Battery life is very good.
No Park Break
Great looking and with the remote gives ease of operation. The drawback is that it does not a park brake function. On any incline going up or down the cart keeps moving. You need to turn the cart perpendicular to the incline so the cart will act as on flat ground and not advance until remote is engaged.
Amazing Electronic Cart
I've used the MGI AT Cart about ten times and it works perfectly. Easy to control and surprisingly stable considering it's narrow stance. This takes all the effort out of carrying clubs or using a push cart. I should have bought one years ago.
Great purchase
Really glad I bought one. So much easier on a 61 yr old guy . I am not nearly as tired after a round when I use my cart. My back really appreciates it 👍
