Before, I was constantly stopping my mixer to scrape down the sides of the bowl, but this beater has completely eliminated that tedious step. The flexible silicone edges truly hug the bowl, ensuring that all ingredients are incorporated evenly, resulting in a smoother, more consistent batter.The fit is absolutely perfect, and the functionality is outstanding. The flexible edge allows for a level of scraping that my original beater simply couldn't achieve. It's made baking these types of treats so much easier and faster, and I appreciate how well it cleans up too. I would definitely recommend this attachment to anyone who frequently makes thick batters in their KitchenAid mixer. It's a game-changer!

So I am not a chef, or a baker, but I do like to cook once in a while. I bought this to replace the paddle on my wife's KitchenAid that had become chipped somehow (wasn't me honey, I promise!). The silicone blades wipe the sides of the bowl clean right out of the box without any adjustment to the mixer head, and that's really all I needed it to do! Mixes as well or better than the paddle it replaced, and at a decent price.
