I bought a black pair and a purple pair because they were cheap enough. After wearing both, I have to say I hate the black pair. I have very narrow feet, so I have to pull the laces pretty tight. When I did on the black pair, the layers separated at the holes because they have not been finished with eyelets or something sturdy. This also leaves the laces very long. This is just preference, but I also notice my heels slipping in and out as I walk, which rubs and hurts because the material of the shoe is very thin. These are attractive shoes, but ultimately I cannot wear the black pair because of these issues.The purple pair does not slip off my foot, and the heel and tongue are padded so that it doesn’t slip and doesn’t hurt. I love the purple pair.
