My dermatologist recommended I use men’s rogaine foam for my thinning hair. I’ve used this Bolo brand every morning for 3 years and it really works! It’s kept my thin hair from becoming thinner and has the same ingredients as Rogaine but for less.

Seems to work better than Kirkland brand, but that could be the result of using the Kirkland brand for 3 months before trying this Bolo option. At the end of the day, it’s all the same active ingredient. Hair grows slowly. It will take a long time for a short hair to grow. 100% this and Kirkland brand have reduce hair lost - less in the drain, but growth takes a long time so hard to say of new hair is growing, but less is falling out.

So sorry that Bolo has gone to the foam rather than the clear fluid/dropper. That and the price were the best things distinguishing it from Rogaine. Impossible to get foam into scalp without losing half of it on hair...guess that is the point: you have to buy more product because some is wasted. Disappointed in you, Bolo.

I started seeing results for hair growth, but I started noticing side effects such as inflammation causing pressure in my sinuses especially around my eyes. I stop using and these effects are going away. I was at fault for not checking the ingredients before using as there is a chemical butylated hydroxtoluene as second ingredient. Any form of toluene should not be in any products for people. It is a harmful chemical. Since this product had Bolo's name, I wrongfully assumed it was safe. Do your homework before trying these products.
