I haven't been on trail yet with it but did notice due to the design of the backpack, the vertical strap should be left loose since there is no place for it to feed through at the bottom of the pack's mesh frame. I have put it on with the rain cover installed and it doesnt affect how the pack rests on my back. It covers everything for when I have a water bottle and tents poles in the outside pockets.

Fits my REI Flash 65 pack perfectly but I don't think it would fit anything larger. The straps are a nice addition for added assurance that it will not slip off.

The media could not be loaded. This Small rain cover fits perfect on my WANDRD PRVKE Lite backpack. It’s snug and it fits like a glove. I love this rain cover. The Small size is perfect for this backpack, with the top rolled down. I am buying the medium rain cover as well, in case I pack my backpack up to the 16 liter configuration. The small cover only works with this backpack’s top rolled down (11 liter). I still bought it even though my backpack is weatherproof.

My son needed protection for his laptop when walking to, from, and across campus in the rain. This is great. It is a poncho style and large enough to cover the backpack with lots of room and coverage to mid-thigh. (He is 5’10”.) Even in heavy rain, he was protected. Although he doesn’t use it unless he is carrying his backpack, it is a good value and something I would recommend for high school and college students as well as anyone who needs to walk outside with a backpack.

I used this to cover my backpack when I checked it on the airplane when I went to Europe. It did the job - not a scratch on my pack. It packed very small and weighed almost nothing.

Great rain cover. So huge. Has one vertical and one horizontal fastener to hold it on. Good in rain.

Good quality
I bought this for my travel pack which didn't come with a built in rain cover. It works very well! I'm able to snug it up tight to my pack and it really does keep the rain out. Had several downpours with it and no issues.
Good enough
As others suggested I sized up with an XL on a 50L arcteryx bag, it's a little loose but fits well enough. Straps aren't the best material and are a bit long, so I eded up trimming them. The cross strap functionality is designed to be centered but you can feel the attachment points on your back, you might get around it by passing it between the frame if you backpack allows it, but I haven't tried. The drainage hole at the bottom rides a bit high on my bag and likely wouldn't be helpful if water accumulates.
