The rake works great! It also removed an unbelievable amount of the undercoat hair. I could not believe how much hair it took out. Now there is hardly any hair floating around my wooden floors!My cat had a couple of matted areas. The rake did not remove them. However, it loosened them enough for me to cut them out. It did pull on the knots which my cat was not happy about. He is a bit of a biter when he is mad. So this made brushing him a bit of a challenge. I had to hold the knot so it did not pull then brush it out. I learned quick to use the gloves to protect my hands and to soothe him while brushing him. He does love the gloves!!The gloves are on the smaller side. Luckily my hands are small and they fit me perfectly. If your hands are bigger, they may not fit. While lying flat, they measure 4 1/2”wide across the knuckle area and 7” from wrist the tip of middle finger. Wrist opening around is 6 1/4” wait Velcro closure so, it can go a bit wider if needed. I don’t know if bigger sizes are an option.Over all, my cat’s fur is shinier, softer and is shedding so much less! I highly recommend!Also, the seller was great in getting this to me as promised!!

If I can provide a 10-star, I'll gladly do so. Why? I used this after both my old, highly rated furminator and single row undercoat rake in combo after 10 minutes per raking device. What I manage to get extra out of the undercoat with this is outstanding.The furminator pulled on the top and undercoat at the same time, which is bad. The bad thing is that the sharp teeth cause discomfort for our furballs. We switch over to the single row rake with smooth end pins for more comfort, but the amount of undercoat removal is minimal after the furminator. We tossed both into the crap bin and use this rake as the last resort to prevent our vacuum robot from choking on the tumble-furs.Surely enough, what we got is another dog worth of undercoat, nearly twice as much as the undercoat volume from both the furminator and the rake, within 10 minutes compared to the 20 minutes on the other two rakes. The great thing is, our dogs love the smoothness of the blades' curved ends to the furminator sharp teeth or the single row of smooth pin ends. We are surprised to see that the dogs willingly want more of the groom from this rake over the two rakes. Finally, the robot doesn't have to suffer from the massive shedding from all our dogs and we don't have to rangle the dogs down to deal with the undercoats.The photo is just from one dog worth after two devices have already gone through after 20 minutes. The lunch box cooler is merely used to compare the volume of the undercoat that can be removed right after the other two. Unfortunately, I was not quick enough in getting the photos before the prior batches were cleaned up. The volume of the top and undercoats was much less than this one.

We rescued our sweet baby boy Brutus last year from a local rescue shelter. Brutus is a Rottweiler/Beagle mix and came from a very bad situation. While we have a full blooded pitbull already, we was not prepared for the difference in breeds. Pitbulls are mainly shorthaired and don't require much "brushing". Going into the summer months in Alabama, this year we quickly knew we needed something to help Brutus transition seasons. This product came in the mail today and was eager to give it a try. Brutus, still skittish with some things, was happy to have a good brushing! We sat outside for the first 5-10 minutes and this is what we got off him. He was curious at first, but was enjoying the brushing very quickly. It made his coat, and our pitbull's coat (Piper), more shiny as well. We are excited to use the product more and more to help our doggies transition to Alabama summer.

I give a four star- only because no one is perfect. But I’m so grateful for this product and its ability to remove tangles and undercoat loose hairs. The only modification I would do is make an extension handle for it for older people that have a hard time bending over to groom their dogs. Very well built the size is appropriate and sit in. The handle is also appropriate. Durability seems pretty tough has no smell and ease of cleaning is very easy to clean. Actually, the hair just falls off of it for the most part.

This rake works exceptionally well. I have a very large German Shepherd who sheds constantly and I would use a Furminator undercoat rake to take care of his grooming, I wasn't very satisfied with the Furminator so I began looking for another solution and this rake absolutely fit the criteria and made grooming the dog absolutely effortless. Not only is brushing him easier and quicker, the dog really likes the feeling of the rake brushing him and it no longer seems like a chore for him. His coat looks great and healthier now that all of the loose fur was removed and I was even able to take out clumps that the other rakes would frequently get caught on with ease. The fact that this rake doesn't catch on long fur is also a huge plus as it won't bother the dog and everyone is all around happier for it.

Our household is continually plagued by animal hair. We have 2 dogs and a big, fluffy Ragdoll cat. I sweep twice a day at least to up with the hair.Every good thing they said about this is true. I meant to take a photo of the hairballs from one of my dogs and my cat. Unbelievable !! I never had any idea how much my dog was contributing to the mess and blamed my cat for what I now discovered to be a substantial undercoat on my dog. No other brush ever revealed it before.Best brush ever, well-priced too!!!! I now have a chance for my floors to stay reasonably clean during the day with this brush. I am thrilled with its effectiveness.Don’t hesitate to buy.

Si tienes a un perro peludo o que tira mucho pelo en forma de pelusa, este es tu cepillo ideal es casi magia. Quita todo ese pelo que a veces termina en tu piso.Si tiene rastas o esta muy enredado puedes quitarlas si eres paciente y tienes cuidado con su piel y pelo.Me atreveria a decir que puede ser tu unico accesorio para peinarlo. I think this is great. Works well on my fluffy border collie, all though he still doesn't like being brushed and you still have to be gentle and careful not to pull their fur/skin
