I haven't yet opened this jar, but previous orders have arrived in good condition and the outside of the most recently ordered plastic jar was in good shape and well-sealed. There are cheaper magnesium glycinate tabs, but I've found several sources that cite the NOW tabs as exceptionally pure, meaning the amount of usable magnesium in each tab is what the jar says it is. Apparently for some other brands of this product, you do not get what you think you're getting, which makes it impossible to guess the right number of tabs you need.

We have been using magnesium but started using this type based on a recommendation that it also helps with better sleep. It seems to work for us, but it took a few weeks before we noticed a difference.

So these are a decently big (not as big as fish oil but still) white solid pills. They work for me. I feel more regulated and stable. I think it helps with my sleep cycles and getting to sleep.Definitely a good add to your supplements.
