This set works perfect for me. It may not be the best for a long beard as you may want a little stiffer bristle. Although, this set would be great if you have sensitive skin.Large Brush: I love the medium stiff bristle on this brush. They feel soft and I actually use this brush for more of a "Finishing" brush. After I apply balm or beard butter, I use this to style my beard and to tame the occasional uncooperative hairs. I use a different brush with stiffer bristles to actually brush out my beard. However, I do get that little scratchy feeling with that brush. Thats why I love the softer feel of this one to finish and style.Mustache Brush: This is a smaller brush and not meant for the beard. However, with my circle beard it actually works well. The bristles are a tad stiffer than the larger brush, which works well for the mustache. I also notice with some beard combs, it is tough to get under the nose. That is where the size of this shines. It makes it easy to brush and style my mustache. It is also makes a great travel brush.Overall, a great feeling set of brushes and will definitely be a part of my daily routine.

Let me start with the star of the show, the moustache brush. I have a medium length handlebar mustache. For my mustache, I did not find this to be the optimal item to use for styling. However, this brush is excellent for carrying around as a pocket boat bristle brush for those clean ups on the go. Boar Bristle brushes are a go-to for many bearded guys, and this makes it possible to carry boar bristles with you. I also believe this would work extremely well on short moustaches and long, Hungarian style (if you are familiar with beard and moustache competitions) moustaches. I also like that it is sleek black and has the brand engraved into the handle. Very classy.The larger boar brush is also sleek and black with the logo screen printed on the back. It has medium firm bristles. Not too soft, not too firm. The only downside is that I have noticed more bristle loss from this one compared to others I have used. It is nothing major, no need to worry about losing too many. I would suggest running your hand back and forth over it before using as to not take chances of losing bristles in your beard.

This is the best deal for a beard brush. You get a nice brush for home use and a perfectly sized brush to easily carry in your pocket to keep your beard and mustache combed when out and about. If your facial hair is like mine you like to wax the mustache to keep it away from your lips when eating or having your favorite beverages with foam like beer or cappuccino. The brush does this nicely with your preferred wax.

The Hunter Jack Beard Brush is an okay product. It has a good size and feels comfortable in hand, making it easy to use. However, I was disappointed that the bristles started falling out after just a few uses, which affected its durability and effectiveness.While it’s functional for a short time, I’d recommend looking for a higher-quality brush if you’re hoping for something long-lasting.
