I am a 44 year old male and have had issues with my right shoulder for several years now. Even after a year of rehabbing it, as soon as I started benching heavy again, the pain returned. I had to drop barbell bench presses and go with neutral grip dumbbell presses or rotating DB presses instead. But my dumbbell set only goes up to 80 lbs. so I was limited on how heavy I could bench. I bought this hoping to bench pain free again. Today I pyramided up from 185 - 225 using all three grip distances, then did incline bench with the widest grips, and all were pain free. My issue is with the outside of my right shoulder, making wide grip, and especially incline, the most painful. So being able to bench pain free again was definitely worth it for me. There are all sorts of shoulder issues, so I can’t say it would be right for everyone. But if you have pain when doing a barbell bench, but can press dumbbells pain free, it is definitely worth considering.

Well made, sturdy unit. Fits between the rails of my power rack. Takes a little getting used to if you’ve never used before but feels much better on the shoulders than a conventional barbell. Great for helping prevent shoulder damage from a conventional thumbs in barbell benchpress.Packaging was very inadequate for such a heavy and sharp edged article. Arrived with both ends of the box ripped apart and small scuff marks on both ends. With better packaging it would be perfect.

This multi grip bar is very sturdy and a great value considering the price of other bars like it . The one drawback is you definitely need to use some barbell collars to keep the weights in place because the weights slide really easy on and off .

Worth every dollar spent. I was going for a standard barbell but when I saw this on TNATION’s Instagram, I just had to have it. I don’t even need a bench. I lay flat on the floor to get my sets in.
