I gave MIELLE Rosemary Strenthening Edge Gel 4 stars because of its effectiveness in keeping my edges smooth and flat on my natural hair style. However, the strenthening was a “No” for me. Although it kept my edges smooth down and flat it also appeared to have caused them to weakened and erode more than they were. Around the crown of my hair is thinner than the edges so I stopped applying it there after only one use. I continued though using the gel on my edges and noticed quite an alarming amount of erosion. I made the choice to discontinue the gel’s use altogether. The price wasn’t an issue because I only needed to use a small bit to get the effect desired. I am a frugal person nonetheless I have to just trash it so I don’t be tempted to consider using it again. I am not a wig person of any kind so my natural hair is all I got to go! All the products promoted in this gel are not in question either. Unfortunately something that I wished would have been a solution for my needs ended with some scary hair loss.

The edge gel works really well. It goes on smoothly. The only thing I wish is that the container was bigger, haha. Like if they made a bigger size version.

I need to be really careful with that fine print it’s pretty tiny I was shocked the quality is excellent but I don’t know how I missed it I would never have bought it and I know it was so small I don’t have a problem with it I just wish it were more obvious the way some sellers make sure that you see what size it is This one I didn’t notice and now I enlarge everything because I feel like a fool

Its greasiness is minimal.My edges look neater and my hair feels a bit stronger since using it regularly, probably thanks to the biotin and nourishing oils packed inside. That said, if you’re going for precise styles that need hours of hold, it might not meet those needs perfectly. Also, the jar is small, so it can run out faster than expected. Overall though, it’s a solid pick for natural, healthy-looking edges with a subtle shine and scent.

I really enjoy using this, yes it’s small but I only use for my edges and so far I’ve already seen an improvement as they were thinning quite badly. It’s the perfect texture/consistency. Has staying power but not too hard or flaky! I will keep buying this as my edges seem to be growing back and I’ve only used for over a week.
