Has a nice soft texture shampoo, reminds me of Dove. It can get bubbly and smells very nice without being too strong. Not sure if it does help my damaged hair since it's too soon to know. But overall I do like the shampoo and its perfect for my scalp. The bottle cap did come damaged though. Otherwise everything else was good :)

I have been trying different shampoos over the past year that were specifically designed to smooth and defrizz hair as well as add protein and restoration. After purchasing 6 different high end shampoos and not getting results, this purchase was a last ditch effort. The Nexxus shampoo is the first one to deliver for my long, wavy hair that tends to frizz up in the humidity. No more need for me to immediately get my wet hair in a bun or braid for work or adding product. This shampoo actually left my hair smooth and frizz free even after leaving it down for the day to dry. It even gave it some shine and bounce. I'm so excited to finally find a shampoo that is nourishing my hair. I wish it wasn't quite do expensive, but you do get a large bottle for the price and if it is leaving these kind of results after one use, I can't wait to see what a month brings. Worth it!

So this would get four stars for sure but I had a lot of trouble getting the pump to pop up so I could use it. It was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. It wasn't because I'm stupid either. Lol it was defective. I had to look up a YouTube video and I had to use tools to get it to open. That being said. I'm still giving four stars. When that expericen alone makes me want to give a one star. But I couldn't possibly do that. Because this is such a great shampoo. After one use my hair felt better and looked better. People noticed too. The smell is absolutely amazing. It lathers just right. Not too much and not too little. And because I'm male and have short hair the bottle will last me forever. I have grey so my hair has always been straw like. Not with this shampoo. This is great I love it and despite the inconvenience that I had I'm in love with it. Its worth the money. Get it.

I don’t know what scent of this shampoo is, but I’m guessing it’s the black rice? But it is so heavenly💖. I feel so relaxed and I just love washing my hair with this product. It lather nicely and doesn’t dry my hair out. I have color treated hair and also very damaged and this has been working very well!!Overall, my favorite thing about this product is the smell! The light scent of rice ?& whatever is in, it gives a spa effect !
