Easy to assemble out of the box; the purple is a really nice matte color & looks sharp,not cheap; it's much lighter than what Mom was using before; the rubber tip allows the cane to stand on its own,but isn't so big to interfere with Mom's steps/shuffling her feet. The cane is steady/has good footing. She's happy with it!

I’ve been using this cane daily for the past 6 weeks once I was able to move away from the walker after spine decompression surgery. I use it with the four point base. It’s helping me with my balance as I work to regain strength in my left hip and leg. It’s very sturdy and lightweight.

In the past few months, I have had some hip issues and have acquired several canes to aid walking, so I feel I have a basis for comparison. This one is the newest and has some very definite positives. The cane is very sturdy wile still being relatively lightweight. The handle curves around and is part of the cane structure itself (many others simply attach a plastic handle to the end). There is a sponge rubber grip on the handle which provides both comfort and grip. The shaft can detach and fold into two pieces. This isn't the most compact arrangement but is adequate for, say, storing in a car and the fewer sections probably contribute to the sturdiness. The cane comes with two tips - a standard single point tip (like most regular canes) and a broad (about 5" at its widest) four-point tip. I have been using the latter since it seems to provide some additional stability and it allows the cane to stand on its own so it is easy to set nearby. The broad tip, unfortunately, brings up my only quibble with the cane (and why I did not give it 5 stars): after using it for a couple of weeks, it has started squeaking where it flexes at the attachment point at the bottom of the cane. It hasn't come loose, but it is audible if you are using it in a relatively quiet area and could be annoying to some. Even then, it is still recommended for its sturdiness, especially at its price point.

Lightweight, Stable, and Surprisingly Comfortable CaneThe KINGGEAR F1 walking stick has been an excellent choice for support and stability. Right out of the box, it felt well-made yet very lightweight—just over a pound—so it’s easy to carry without fatigue. The aviation-grade aluminum gives it a sturdy feel, and the quad base provides real stability on different surfaces. I especially like that it stands on its own, which saves me from bending over to pick it up.Adjustability is another big plus. With six height options, it’s simple to set it up to the right level, and the push-button lock feels secure. The offset foam handle is comfortable even for longer walks and doesn’t dig into the wrist or palm the way some harder handles do. The included wrist strap is also a nice safety feature.The quad base grips well indoors and outdoors—tile, pavement, even slightly uneven ground—and it moves quietly without the clicking noise some canes make. Folding it up for travel or storage is quick, and the Velcro tie keeps it wrapped neatly.If there’s any small drawback, it’s that the quad base is wider than a standard cane tip, which means it can feel a little bulky in tight spaces. Wonderful! My mom fell down and had a knee injury and her legs were starting to swell as she put pressure on different areas to compensate while walking. This cane offers a stable bottom that is sturdy and gives her the support she needs. You get two bottom option, with the 3 leg bottom or a single one when you want to go for a walk. This is really nice, because we want to keep the 3 pronged one for home.

Great cane
So far I love it. Delivery was next day. I can adjust the cane to my shorter height. It seems to be very sturdy which is important. I love the color and it stands if I'm not using it which is an added bonus.

Worthwhile as an extra for balance issues
Easy to use and to fairly lightweight. I would’ve liked a cane that would been become smaller but I also needed this for stability so the swan neck and claw foot was important. This cane definitely meets these criteria.
