Ancient Persia plays a tremendously fascinating role in providing thousands of years of flavoring expertise to make low carbohydrate vegetables more palatable and appealing.First, add two cups of water to a microwaveable ceramic bowl with a glass lid. Add in 4 heaping tablespoons of kosher organic fenugreek seeds along with 2 tablespoons each of kosher, organic powdered ginger as well as turmeric. Add in 1 tablespoon kosher olive oil as well as 1/2 tablespoon of kosher ground pepper. Place lid on microwaveable bowl & microwave for 4 minutes. Let sit for 1 hour until fenugreek seeds soften. Once cooled, transfer fenugreek seed flavoring sauce to a Tupperware container & refrigerate.Wash 3 pounds of organic broccoli thoroughly and inspect for bugs. Place 3 pounds of minced broccoli in an air fryer basket, spray lightly with kosher olive oil and air fry at 350 degrees for 4 1/2 minutes to 5 minutes. Allow to air cool. Once air cooled, place cooked broccoli in a plastic Tupperware container and refrigerate. If you don’t own an air fryer, simply place 3 pounds of broccoli in a large pot & add two cups water to pot. Place lid on pot and steam while stirring until broccoli is lightly cooked. Use a colander to drain water from broccoli.Wash 2 pounds of mushrooms & thoroughly inspect for bugs. Mince. Place 2 pounds of minced mushroom in an air fryer basket, spray lightly with kosher olive oil and air fry at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Allow to air cool. Once air cooled, place mushrooms in a plastic Tupperware container and refrigerate. If you don’t own an air fryer, simply place mushrooms in large frying pan and sautee with olive oil until water has evaporated to a thick sauce.Next, peel 3 extra large rinsed & chilled avocados. Finely mince avocado flesh and place in a large Tupperware container & store in refrigerator. The last step is to use a large pot to mix all the ingredients. In a large pot, add the chilled avocados, chilled cooked broccoli, cooked, chilled mushrooms as well as turmeric & ginger seasoned fenugreek seed sauce. To the pot add 6 tablespoons ground flaxseed and 6 tablespoons of organic, kosher pea protein powder. Finally to the pot add 1/4 cup organic apple cider vinegar & 1/4 cup organic lemon juice.Stir the pot contents with a large spoon and transfer contents of pot to 4 or 5 Tupperware containers for refrigeration until ready to serve a meal. Now, for a nutritious low carbohydrate breakfast, fill a ceramic microwaveable cereal bowl with pre-prepared & flavored low carbohydrate vegetables and microwave for 4 minutes. Transfer the hot vegetable dish to a much larger bowl and stir in 3 tablespoons of kosher, organic psyllium whole husk powder for added fiber to help provide a feeling of satiety throughout the day. Once the whole husk psyllium powder is mixed into the vegetable dish, the vegetable breakfast bowl needs to be consumed within 8 to 10 minutes as psyllium very quickly absorbs water and becomes almost totally unpalatable if left to sit idle and is not eaten almost immediately after mixing in psyllium.Enjoy vegetable bowl with organic, kosher salsa and organic, kosher sauerkraut to taste. This vegetable bowl should be eaten with perhaps 1 ounce of kosher lamb or tofu for added protein as excessive eggs are known to cause diabetes & overall mortality risk. This breakfast meal works best for weight management if it is the last & only meal of the day. The added whole husk psyllium powder acts as an appetite suppressant, & the low carbohydrate vegetable meal prevents an upsurge of insulin that inhibits lipolysis. Furthermore, restricting meals to one per day further inhibits insulin which prevents lipolysis. Lipolysis means burning fat for energy in biological organisms.Note that the critical ingredient & step is adding in psyllium whole husk powder as psyllium whole husk powder creates a sensation of satiety through the entire day & allows one to skip both lunch as well as dinner as well as in-between snacks. Weight loss and weight maintenance is far too difficult without psyllium whole husk powder without the added satiety effect.Within one to four hours after breakfast, the following beverages may be consumed as they act as appetite suppressants.Beverage A: add two shots of organic espresso to 12 ounces organic almond milk & add stevia to taste. Makes a keto latte.Beverage B: Add one tablespoon organic lemon juice plus one tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar to a 16 ounce glass of water and add liquid stevia to taste. Add ice cubes to chill the drink.Beverage C: black coffeeYou should see immediate weight loss results if you’re also adding in a sufficient amount of exercise per day. Remember, no pain, no gain.I typically lose 1/3 pound per day with a 45 minute bicycle ride right after breakfast. I still get very mild hunger pains consisting of stomach grumbling around 5-7 pm, but I typically sip on apple cider & lemon juice flavored stevia sweetened water to make very minor hunger pains go away.I still have a sweet tooth to satisfy after breakfast, so I eat a few slices of stevia sweetened organic almond flour chocolate cake along with almond butter & stevia sweetened chia seed pudding for desert.Ingredients for keto low carb chocolate cake Recipe:3 eggs1 1/2 cups organic almond flour1/2 cup organic almond milk2 tablespoons psyllium whole husk powder -organic1/4 cup organic walnutsStevia to taste2 1/2 teaspoons baking powderBake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes & allow to cool in oven for 30 minutesRecipe for Keto low carb Chia seed pudding:1/2 cup organic chia seed1/2 cup organic cacao powderStevia to taste2 cups hot organic almond milkFirst heat 2 cups almond milk & then stir in other ingredients & chill in refrigerator when cooled. The key ingredient for the vegetable stir fry is psyllium whole husk fiber as psyllium greatly slows down the absorption of the meal so the meal lasts an entire 24 hours without major hunger pains even when exercise is added in.Sent from my iPhoneSent from my iPhoneSent from my iPhoneSent from my iPhone
5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely recommend!
I really love this protein powder. I have bought it three times already and will continue to purchase it! It has clean simple ingredients and for a great price. I used to buy the Arbonne protein powders, but it just got to expensive! I think they were $60 a bag plus having a subscription. This protein powder is very similar and not as sweet which I really like. Sometimes I will add cacao powder if I am going for a chocolatier vibe, but without the sugar and calories of a chocolate protein powder. I usually have this as my morning on-the-go breakfast since I am a teacher and it fills me up with just one large scoop in my smoothie. Highly recommended if you are on a budget but want something with great quality.
4.0 out of 5 stars It’s ok
I’m new to pea protein. So maybe they all taste like this. The scoop came at the very bottom, but it was in there. Blends well. I add a banana and peanut butter to make a smoothie, but this overpowers them. If I didn’t know what the flavor was, I wouldn’t guess chocolate or peanut-butter from the taste alone. The taste instead reminds me of those Veggie Straws (chips). I won’t order again, kinda disappointed I have 5lbs to finish, but for the ingredients and price it’s ok. Like I said, first pea protein I’ve tried. Whey is very different.
5.0 out of 5 stars Peas makes you jacked!
People, please don't just go by negative reviews. I saw a couple of negative reviews where they were complaining that it tastes like mushed peas. But... isn't that what it's made with?? Wow!People, this is a great whey protein alternative which will contain chickpeas and other non dairy goodies. 3 flavors offered - vanilla, chocolate and plain.I got the vanilla but definitely wasn't expecting it to taste like a Cold Stone Creamery super vanilla ice cream. So just use common sense, peas will taste like peas but it has the protein you're looking for. Forget the rest of the sugarholics expecting their protein podwer to taste like ice cream.Pea protein powder, 7/10! Weird taste at first, but you remember that you're drinking pea protein.Update - Vanilla flavored pea protein is now so much better to my taste palette. I taste the vanilla more. And I got jacked from working out, enjoying this vanilla pea protein and healthy meals. Work hard, get your reward!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product
I bought chocolate flavor. Definitely not as sweet as others, but I bought this for the simple ingredients and I’m not one to be concerned with flavor, but the nutritional value. And any review that says you’re getting shorted, my package, including the container, weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. So no issue there.
5.0 out of 5 stars I mean for the value, the taste is fine!
It’s not like Sunwarrior Protein with amazing flavor, but it’s also not a whopping $44 / 20 servings. This gigantic protein powder tub will last me for a very, very long time. When I asked ChatGPT to compare a bunch of different protein powders on Bolo and find the best, plant based, one in terms of value and flavor, this was the result and I’m not disappointed. Definitely use cold water with a few ice cubes when mixing in your blender bottle. Don’t use warm water, it doesn’t taste good at all. But with very cold water, it’s actually kind of refreshing and very tolerable.
Clean, Simple Protein – Tastes Like Peas (Not Burnt!)
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Was a bit hesitant after seeing some reviews mentioning a “burnt” taste, but mine didn’t have that issue at all. It tastes exactly like what it is — straight-up peas, nothing more, nothing less. No artificial flavor, no sweetness, just a clean plant-based protein.I mix it with water or unsweetened almond milk and toss in a banana or some cocoa powder depending on the day. Blends well in a shaker bottle (or better in a blender), and digests without issue — no bloat, no weird stomach stuff like I get with whey. Also appreciate the transparency: one ingredient only, no junk, no fillers. You know exactly what you're putting in your body.Definitely will be ordering again. If you're okay with a natural, earthy flavor and want real, unflavored protein without garbage additives, this is it.
Buena opción, el sabor está bien, buen producto.
La proteína esta bien, con calidad. Es problema es que tardó dos semanas en llegar.
One of the better ones
One of the better natural pea proteins I’ve tried so far - it shakes well so I skip the blender on lazy days, and the taste is pretty neutral, takes on flavours well. I also like the higher quality peas from North America.
Bought UNFLAVORED: Can't get past the chalkiness
Absolutely horrible taste. Tasting it on its own, it's a little salty / savory. It also has a somewhat pasty texture out of the container. When mixed in liquid, the chalky taste never goes away. You can add all kinds of flavors to mask the taste, but the chalkiness never goes away. Had 2 servings...sadly, ready to throw it out.
Personaly I don't like the taste and the texture
Maybe the quality of the product it's high, this is the reason why I bought it, due the natural ingredients., but personaly I don't like the taste and the texture. Taste as a sour stuff. Someone said mushy peas, and could be similar and the texture is so think. Doesn't taste a ls a chocolate flavour. I feel I have waste my money due I'm feeling sick when I try it. I wanted to buy a small size but they didn't have any smaller than 2kg.
