Nice and heavy, sturdy, and stitched well.Fits great, no clinging tucked or untucked.I just wish it had a pocket, but it is advertised as no pocket, so I got what I ordered, no loss of rating.I machine wash and dry it on settings I do not care about or bother to check, and it hasn't affected it.

So, I don’t normally do reviews on men’s shirts because, I am after all, a girl but, I do vests. That’s my thing and shamefully, I have over 100. Woman’s shirts not only do not work with vests but, they’re like . . . stupid and too short and, if they’re printed, they’re usually just down right fugly. Anyway, I’m becoming an Bolo Essentials junky. I first got hooked with their Buttondown shirts - “Very Nice!” - I look for those! Today, I opened up those Goodthreads shirts - “Mmm-Mmm-Mmm!!!” I’m seeing some Blue Shirt Syndrome there!!! You know, when your favorite blue shirt is clean again and you have to wear it first before everything else, that’s these shirts. “Mm-Hm-Yup!” and now, too many combinations to consider. I also have new, favorite Hoodies, when I already had too many anyway too, but I won’t apologize for being a girl. I guess the points that I’m trying to get to are, if you guys are looking for nice fitting and looking dress shirts, that require minimum hassle - Bolo Buttondown Dress Shirts. If you want something that’s going to feed that Blue Shirt Syndrome and feels so comfy that you just want to start wearing it right then and there, before you even wash the darned thing - A E Goodthreads!!! And those essential Hoodies with the furry stuff inside, I got one of those and those suckers are soft, you almost want it to be cold. Ok, for whatever it’s worth, there’s the Chic’s point of view on y’all’s clothes - “Bye!”

I’m generally pleased with my purchase. I got a 2XL because the website it would fit my neck. Around the waist it fit similar to Bolo Essentials work shirts (like mechanics use which I find comfortable).It was snug around the waist when sitting, but I can’t complain because I have a belly. I did find the neck snug when buttoning the top button so it means the neck is 18 or 18.5 and I wear a 19/19.5 to have 1-2 fingers space in the collar.The shirt is surprisingly thick like Bolo’s work shirts, much thicker than other dress shirts from another brand.And I am pleased that this shirt has button holes like other Bolo shirts does, all vertical button holes except the last one at the bottom which is horizontal. That feature keeps the shirt from unbuttoning itself during daily movement at the office. A very nice feature! I was a little disappointed in how it was packaged however but I have to press and wash it anyway.

I have several of these shirts now and all are nice. The fabric is nice, they fit as expected and overall, are a great value for the money. I'd rate the shirt itself at 4 or 5 stars.How Bolo gets them to you is an entirety different story. Some of my purchases have arrived in flimsy, clear plastic bags that are of the quality you might expect to find the shirt packaged in if you bought in a department store. That they survived the shipping process is nothing short of a miracle!Sometimes, they arrive on time but my most recent purchase took literally weeks to arrive, and I'm a Prime member! I swear, the pony express could have delivered it faster.So... Go ahead and purchase the shirt but be prepared for the possibility of damage in shipping or for a really long deliver window.Honestly Bolo, for a company that prides itself on logistics, you should be ashamed of the way you handle these shirts!

You get what you paid for! I knew this when ordered this shirt, so it meets my expectations for the price. Note, it doesn't have a front pocket (which might be the trend these days?). It fits well and is made from the oxford material (requires ironing if you want it wrinkle-free). The construction quality seems good to me, and the buttons are fine.
