I grew up in Italy, where they don't have a "Bicycle card mentality". Cards there are more expressive and diverse. I loved the vibrant colors and the ideas they had. I find the Elephant Medieval playing cards reminded me so much of those beautiful cards of my youth. They are a work of art, each one, and you will not tire of admiring the designs and art on each of them. I find them to be very serviceable for card play. They feel great, and sized very well. They are smooth enough to allow for any card game and durable enough to hold up for quite a long time. I simply love this deck and will be getting more of the same in the future. I like some of the other shades offered. This will not be my last purchase of Elephant Playing Cards. Highly recommended.

This is a nice deck of cards if you want something a little different. Though the cards don't quite feel like your standard Bicycle cards - they feel a bit more papery and don't have quite as much spring to them - they fan and slide and shuffle for me just fine. The illustrations are nice, and each face card is unique. The colors as they are printed are sort of dull and muted, which may be to your taste. I don't regret my purchase, especially for the price they were offered for (under $10).

These are the most beautiful cards I have ever used. An exceptional quality. I use them for divination. They are special. The illustrations are beautiful, the colors are perfect, certainly a great talent of artist that should not be forgotten. It transports you to ancient times with a touch of nobility and mystery. The size is perfect and they are easy to handle. This is taking the cards to the highest level of quality. Like an expensive piece of jewelry that is worn proudly and impresses. Congratulations for this remarkable work.

These are a great addition to my card collection. The finish on the cards is nice and slick. The custom artwork is amazing. The tuck box has very nice detail with a seal that resembles an old wax seal.Even better, I got an email from the owner of the company who was concerned that some shipments might have been damaged and wanted to ensure mine arrived safely. My cards arrived in perfect condition as did a second deck (Starry Night) I ordered from them a few days later. Truly appreciate the customer service that goes above and beyond. I will gladly be adding more Elephant Playing Cards to my collection.

I bought these cards to have a more appropriate feel at the LARP I go to. The cards are all really easy to tell the difference between and the backs look amazing as well. As expected they shuffle like any other deck of cards, but if you're OCD beware. The Jack, Queen, King, and Ace pictures aren't mirrored vertically like traditional playing cards. This could lead to people giving additional information if you plan to play poker with them, and they want to see the art.

These will spoil you forever.I purchased the color variant, and the cards are gorgeous and keep a traditional style while still bearing a completely custom design.Even the standard number cards have been redone.The air cushion coating on the cards is not as obvious as other decks I own, which I like, and the handling is exactly what you'd expect from cards in this price range.Bottom line, if you're a magician or just a card enthusiast (or even just want a deck that'll turn heads), get this.I cannot emphasize how much I love the visual of these cards.
