I needed a lightweight knife for water activities requiring a fullproof locking system and this is it. It weighs nothing, it's sharp, it's stainless, the maker even thought to apply oil to the blade, which you should always do with any diving knife and is the number one reason even stainless will rust. Locking system is really solid, same as the patented Aqualung that will run you 100 bucks for slightly larger knife. Arm strap is perfect as well. I actually use it on my belt, reversed so I can easily pull out the blade and it holds in place perfectly. Smell of rubber is weirdly pungent, but I guess that's academic.

I was looking for a replacement knife for my Aqua Lung $70 Titanium knife which was lost on a dive. I loved that knife because it never tarnished and I could leave it out in my shed with my gear. It never rusted or tarnished. That knife is apparently unavailable but this one looked close so I tried it. Nicely, the lock mechanism is the same so it went right into my old sheath on my weight belt. The blade does not look as durable but for $20, I can buy a few spares and I can start keeping it inside with my regulator. So I think this was a good deal, but time will tell.

I have had quite a few spearfishing knives over the years. This one is pretty good. It stays in the sheath until you need it, its sharp, and its easy to put back when you are done dispatching your fish. When using it on your weightbelt, it is desgined so that the handle is above your belt line, this is great for freedivers as it doesnt interfere with your thigh when you dive down. The included straps are okay, but the buckle on one was not locking into place and would just unbuckle as soon as i tried to tighten it. I contracted the seller and they immediately sent a replacement.

I spearfish regularly and this is my third knife and it is amazing. It is lightweight and easy to use with one hand thanks to the easy lock click. The tip is very sharp and easy to neutralize fish, scale and gut them. Easy to put on my belt and use in the water. Great product

The rubber straps have such an over powering smell my entire car smells like a burnt rubber factory. Use a degreaser just once and it’s fine. Great quality for the price

I love to free dive and also dive for sea urchin sea shells in the Med. Other knifes tended to rust up and overweight, hard to get out and so forth. This knife is something else. For quarter of the price of more premium knives, it is light, thin (perfect for getting into hard to reach spots) and with press of side plastic knobs comes out easily. In terms of rusting, I will have to update you next year (it is Oct 1st, 2022 today). Used for many dives. Only negative is like other users ... the straps are to rubbery ... bought other straps that work awesome. I am SO HAPPY!!!9 MONTHS LATER UPDATE: it rusts ... love that it is thin and light but rusts away
