Easy to install, waterproof, solid build, seems to be a keeper. I used this breaker instead of inline 40amp fuse for my Jack plate actuator, allows me to use it as on and off switch too when boat is in storage, the power is straight to battery with no other way to disconnect power, this was set up like that from the factory, not a good idea.

Inexpensive, does the job, can use as a cut off switch and is still working in a brackish/saltwater environment almost 2 yrs after purchase. I researched 60 amp breakers and liked the look and reviews (minimal at the time) of this breaker. It was important to have a good breaker for my Minn Kota iPilot 24v 80lb thrust troll motor. Invested a lot of money in it and batteries. Didn’t want to buy cheap but didn’t want to overspend either. I also needed it to act as a cut off switch. It does all this quite well. When I needed a main breaker for my onboard fuse block I went with the 25amp version and it has worked well as well. Cut off switch was important in that application as well. I would highly recommend!

I wish it had an actual cover instead of being exposed, but that’s probably more preference than necessity. It’s well built and I’m happy with the weight and quality. It seems to function as intended and it holding up so far. Happy with the purchase.

Gives me peace of mind because breakers are so much more consistent than fuses, which may or may not break when they should. I was constantly having to mess with my in-line fuse because of connection issues, fuses blowing during normal motor use, on and on. This breaker is easy to install, easy to wire, and easy to reset. I don't abuse my motor so I'm not expecting this thing to trip for no reason. If that starts happening, or if it doesn't trip when it should and fries my motor, I'll rewrite this review. First impression, I'm completely happy with it.

picked this up for a new Terrova Quest installation on my offshore boat, so far it's worked great. i did install it where it would not be in the weather or salt spray so i can't say how 'waterproof' it may or may not be, but i didn't want to take any chances with the terminals rusting as they are somewhat exposed even with the rubber caps in place.

So far so good!
The breaker itself is sturdy and the mechanism is quite solid.Just installed my new 12 volt 100 ah lithium batteries on it let's see how she does.
