The chain on my old blinds broke. And the vertical panels that I had were pretty new. So I only needed to replace the mechanical part. However, only complete sets are available. The new rod was much easier to install than the old one. And when I put all my old vertical panels back on; I realized that one of my old panels was missing. It was broken by our dog some time ago. So luckily, I was able to use one of the new vertical panels to fill in the empty space!I was really happy with the price and ease of installation. I highly recommend this item.

I was leary ordering this vertical patio blind because of some of the negative reviews but because of the perfect measurements and lower than average priceing.... and the few positive reviews, I purchased it anyways. I am convinced I was shipped a defective, broken and returned item. The box was undamaged and no broken plastic was loose in the box. However once we were almost done with the instalation, that was challenging but do-able, we discovered the plastic that holds the control wand, (pre-installed inside the tract) was broken and won't hold any part of the gear or wand. Also the blinds were to come with 25 hanging slats and I recieved 24. So one clip is empty. Also in the box were, four unlisted square to rectangular pieces(all different measurements and cut uneven?)that look like they were cut off the tract that we are calling mystery pieces. The tract is a durable metal, but the plastic accents and parts are not, evidenced by the broken wand connection piece. The blind slats are a flexable thin rubbery material that easily rip, one hole ripped out of one of the slats in the hanging clip and had to be taped. So basically I have a nonfunctional blind that looks incomplete. The company lists an email and phone# but I have yet to have anyone respond to my inquiries. I had to contact Bolo. This is totally unacceptable and not a quality product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Color and Price. Had a small problem and they fixed it with a replacement part. The serves was fantastic.

They look great work perfect, but they have a smell like benzoil peroxide. They've been up a week and I can still smell it when i'm close to them, at first it was really strong odor. That's the only reason they get less than five stars.

Slat or blind broke first day. It was installed exactly as should be. The slat fell out and it was broken at the top. I'm really not happy this broke so easily.

Amazing blinds, don't listen to negative reviews
If you filter for all the 1 star reviews here about how cheap and damaged the blinds are, you'll see they virtually all of them are older, prior to 2022. I think that's because the company listened and has improved their quality control and packaging process since then. The blinds I ordered arrived undamaged and the quality is great, they line up well together to block out the sun and do not fall down on their own. Additionally, these blinds arrive significantly faster than other well reviewed blinds here on Bolo.I couldn't find any vertical blinds to order from Lowe's, Home Depot, Rona, Walmart, or Canadian Tire that were well reviewed, in-stock, and had comparatively short delivery time, so I gambled with these and it paid off big time.You get 25 blinds in a set, I needed 44 (to replace) so I thought I would buy a pack and see how they would turn out.Needless to say I will be purchasing another set to fill in the remaining blinds I need.
