I have recently become serious again about bike riding. I had a Giro years ago that saved me after coming off my road bike at 30mph and landing on my shoulder and head on the road. i have a great deal of respect for a quality helmet, It has been almost 20 years since that fall and I miss riding and feeling like a kid - and staying in shape too , so I decided to get back onto a mountain bike and get back at it. Product change over the years, bikes, gear ect. some for the good and some not so good. I read many reviews and asked different folks about helmets. I decided on the Giro again, brand recognition is one reason, saving my head from a serious concussion is another. I received the helmet a day early, out of the box it fit perfect, and the neg reviews about the straps not adjusting properly is unfounded. Chin strap is adjustable, straps fall naturally around my ears and the adjustment knob on the back is good for more warm head gear during the winter rides.As a foot note - I am 68, I was in my first bike race in 1971. The only helmet available at that time was a Styrofoam plastic thing that was supposed to cushion the fall, things have come a long way in 50 years - Thank God I always keep a helmet on my head when riding and this one is easy to wear, I didn't really notice it after a few miles. Good design, very light and very cool (I bought the white)

I have had several Giro helmets in the past and this is the first time I ordered on online. I was very happy that it is true to size. I opted for the green helmet to be more visible. It’s quite comfortable and has plenty of airflow for those hot days. All in all a great value.

Helmet showed up looking just like I expected. My first couple of rides have been very comfortable and cool. The air flow is good and the fit adjustment set up works well. Not so sure that the MIPS system will make that much of a difference - seeing as I'm not looking to crash too often. But the quality is there.

Very comfortable mips helmet. This is my second one as the first one took a hard hit and needed replacement. Pretty bad crash and I am glad I had a good helmet on. They are not super expensive but fit comfortably and look good too. visor is not adjustable which is a small downfall.The only real complaint is that I was shipped one that was dated a year old already. The other thing is the color. This is not black at all, its a grey color. not the end of the world but if you want true black, this isn't it.

This Giro bicycle helmet came in a plastic bag and it's factory box and it was also in a shipping box to prevent it from being damaged. I like the highly visible color and it fits perfectly with a fine tune knob on the back for adjusting. This bicycle helmet from Giro is all anyone should need for safety and also has MIPS on the inside to further increase its safety rating. I would definitely buy this again without hesitation, it comes in about 8 colors and is very comfortable to wear. If your on the fence about buying it don't hesitate unless you want to spend a lot more money. If you want to wear a well made safe bike helmet at a fair price this one is for you. I have not been given any kind of compensation to review this bicycle helmet.

You can feel the breeze when riding. Fits pretty well, the helmet looks good, durable as well. Hoping it will last a long time

Been using it for over a month now. Fits well. Light weight. Breathable for our summer temps in UAE. So far great product at great value for its price.
Great helmet
A bit bigger than I was expecting but still works. The visor is a bit flimsy but not a big deal.
