These sized clamps work great for many uses. I have used them to hold a seat belt at full extension while installing a baby seat in the car or clamp down the cover on a wagon or cart. I keep one or two in each of our vehicles for just in case.

i have purchased other clamps in this size and they tend to break very easy with normal use. also the spring is not very strong. EACHPOLE Heavy Duty Nylon Spring Clamps are outstanding and by far these are the best clamps in this size out there. the spring is strong and the clamp is sturdy and resilient. i use them on productions for many things including hanging green screens and no longer need a steamer. also use them for hiding and securing cables and stingers to beams and pipes. i am super pleased by there rugged construction. that said like all the other clamps i have used in this type the little swivel foot comes off ,however this helps the clamp grip better on smaller pipping.

We use these at our church weekly to hold small wood sections together to create a safety border where we store items when not being used. They come off on Sunday morning, and go back on Sunday afternoon. Most of this packet has held up to this abuse, but a few have had the 'pads' that contact the wood have popped off. The tension and force levels are totally appropriate for the size. I would certainly purchase these again for the price paid.

These clamps were recommended to me by my friend to hold my above ground pool cover...I would definitely recommend this product it's holds the cover in place and has not yet popped off.....

These claps don't seem very study to me and they did not work at all for my purposes. I bought some cheap 4.5" from Harbor Freight and jaw span is roughly 2.5". I just needed them to clamp approx. 2.10" of wood together; they worked fine for this light duty task; I just needed a lot more. So I jumped on Bolo to see if I could order them in bulk.However this particular brand of 4.5" seem to only have a jaw span of about 1 & 7/8th. I BARELY got them to open wide enough to clamp onto a 2x4. (Which is technically just 1.5". They will be returned.

good size to fit a 1" outdoor curtain rod to keep the grommets from sliding and the curtain open or closed, and they grip very well.

Had purchased one set of the Eachpole brand clamps online and didn't try the clamps out until the day before our event. We needed more clamps so we had to buy other brands from local stores the day before setting up for our party. Was not happy with the other brands of clamps and regret not buying more of the Eachpole clamps. Just purchased more sets of the Eachpole clamps (4.5"). They are easy to use and strong enough to do the job. We used them on the multi colored backdrop. You won't regret the purchase. :)

I purchased these to secure a backdrop for a photo booth at a party. They worked so great we used some for table decorations as well.
