The stamens are whole and strong. The aroma is wonderfully intense. The colour in cooking is warm and rich and bright. The tin was filled to the brim, though it contains much less now. I’m using saffron all the time. Recommended without reservation.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with other brands of saffron, so I don't have anything to compare it against, but it tastes great whenever I'm making paella or kheer. Much cheaper than what I can get in the grocery store.

Product arrived quickly, packaged well, best use by date of 12/2026, (18mo out), but I was surprised that the Country of Origin was Afghanistan.I thought is was from Spain?I will add a comment if I had any issue

Just started my journey with saffron and so far I'm enjoying it. It's a very small tin but you don't need that much in your recipes so it's gonna last me a while.

Honestly I don't have much exp grading saffron but compare to the stuff I bought from high end food place this one look smell and taste even better. Also compare to the saffron my friend bought from her trip to Spain, this one is much better as well.
