I ran it over a strop for like 10 passes and it shaves great. A bit bigger than I expect, it is a tight hing so yeah a little bit of a pain to open but it won't easily close on you.I'll update this if needed as i use it more and when i eventually try to resharpen it.

I bought this for a prop for a Halloween costume. When I saw how cheap the price was I thought it’s surely gonna be cheaply made and cheesy looking. I was shocked when it arrived and was actually very well made and sturdy. The blade cleanly and quite smoothly shaved a bare spot on my forearm with minimal effort. This was a very great find and you simply cannot beat the low price. It’s also a very good replica of the original blade from the movie!
