Used them to hold down our pool tarp and we live on top of a huge hill where is ALWAYS windy!! And they hold down the tarp awesome

I was shopping for the clamps that are similar that are sold in Home Depot for 99c a piece. And those seemed to be the right size. Yet when they arrived the difference was significant. This clams are super light duty and are actually more of the clothespins. Only suitable for applications where light pressure needed. The metal is very thin and springs don’t have any preload. They simply do not provide any value for the money spent. If you are looking for the clamps that are suitable for glue ups - those are not the right choice.

I ordered these clips to hold tarps over fruit trees when the weather gets below freezing. I purchased four or five similar clips from the hardware store, which were quite strong. Since these were the same size I was hoping they would be of equal quality. I wouldn't recommend them for my purposes. Additionally, they were very poorly packed in shipment. They’re OK, but not great quality.

I bought these to hold up my lights on my travel trailers frame and to keep my table cloths from getting blown off.

They are made cheap AF. When trying to open it it just bends sideways because the metal is so thin and the red silicone handle piece ripped off after squeezing it once. Save yourself the time and don’t buy these.

These are very light duty clips. I have chip bag clips stronger than these guys. I bought them for home and garden projects, but that’s not going to work. Not sure what to use them for now.
