This is a perfect replacement power adapter for the Microsoft Surface. It is almost identical to the original power supply that came with the computer. I didn’t feel comfortable using a third party power supply and really like that this is an original Microsoft product. I am very happy with this product and its performance.

Unfortunately, it did not charge my Surface 2 laptop. It seemed used as the packaging was opened previously. It's going back, don't waste your time.

My daughter uses Microsoft Surfaces at school. I bought this to have as a backup, even though I would never willingly purchase a Microsoft device otherwise. Somehow, this is the real deal, and not a knock-off product, for a lot less money than Microsoft charges if you buy from them directly.

My original charger provided with my Microsoft laptop broke where it plugs into the laptop and was burning me when it was charging. Decided to buy this one as a replacement and couldn't be happier!
