5.0 out of 5 stars Hard black magic puzzle that will turn you into the worst version of yourself. But have no worries, the heavens will save you.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } took me six months to complete it. It would sit at the end of my desk like a shining beacon of humiliation that I could not solve it. Everyday, I would stare at it as if it were scar put upon me by a gypsy temptress. It would temp and tease me by calling my name while on conference calls and say "Solve me, i'm easy" "you almost have it, keep going". Well, fall became winter. Winter turned to spring. One day, when no one was looking, I tried to smash it open on the ground. I hurled the well built piece of science fiction like I was Roger Clemens (during his juicing period, mouth guard and all). It had the upper hand on me, and the puzzle knew it. It used its powers of confusion to rocket itself off the concrete subfloor and bounce into my window, cracking it like almighty Thor unleashing the thunderclouds from Asgard. I fell to the floor, my back fell against the walls painted all white with my shame and humiliation. My hands, exasperated, ran through my hair, realizing that I hit rock bottom. I had no choice, there always comes a time when you must face the music. But, i stood up, refusing to lose to the black magic that this sorcery has brought into my life. I calmly stole the plant from the office area and strategically placed it in front of the quickly spreading crack in the glass. The reminder from my Outlook calendar reminder blares with the familiar tune of Antoine Dotson's "Hide your kids, hide your wife" another conference call...... I began to ask myself, how low have i become? Then the lightning bolt, intended for the window, strikes me! Waves of creativity and ingenuity crash over me like a tsunami. "Look up the answer on Youtube" Antoine, you are a genius. I knew that the years of ridicule of having your music on my playlist was for a future event.Over the course of the next 90 seconds, I found the How to video on solving this puzzle. Triumphantly, I raised my hands in celebration as I open the puzzle and take out the nut that was placed inside. Sweat rolling off my brow, acted like the tears of god washing and cleansing me of this experience. I felt that god's acceptance of my tempting the devil came when it began to rain outside. His celebration to the world of me beating the devil back for hundreds of years to come was the rain that fell.A few weeks later, a co-worker threw me a hard candy from the hallway. Poorly thrown as it was, it bounced off my desk and went into the same window i mentioned previously. "OMG! look what you did" i say back pointing to the cracked window. "Dont worry buddy, its our secret. I wont sell you out. But one day I may need a favor and remember this moment". my co-worker nods in acknowledgement. What have I become, I asked myself while I ran to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror, my eyes glowed red like I was possessed. The rolling fires in hell shine through me like a beacon....a lighthouse for evil. Then I blink, and I have horns and forked tongue.I awake from my nightmare. life it seems is back to normal. phew.Other than that, the packaging was a little bulky and I didnt like the shade of green of the box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to solve but easy to master (Don't watch video if you want to solve it yourself)
The media could not be loaded. Don't watch video if you want to solve it yourself.Very difficult and fun! This is the most difficult puzzle I've solved. Had a really fun time with it, the first 10minutes it felt impossible. I didn't time myself but it probably took me an hour of play time to solve it and I'm by no means a good puzzle solver. Mastering it took probably another 30mins, I can now take it apart and back together under a minute. Was good times, highly recommend if you like solving puzzles.Don't watch video if you want to solve it yourself.
4.0 out of 5 stars Solved in 5mins
super easy, solved in 5 minutes, I was hoping for more of a challenge
5.0 out of 5 stars Buy again
This was fun but very easy to figure out however it's all about lining up the threads to the mm
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect
Perfect fun
5.0 out of 5 stars “You can put your weed in there”
My review is a response to what many have described as their biggest gripe with this puzzle:I understand frustration. I also know that my strength becomes hulk like when pitted against a tiny adversary that won’t give up easily.Hard won experience has taught me the proper approach to take when tackling a difficult nut and bolt situation. Most of the time, a gentle hand is all the strength needed to thread Nuts on Bolts. And guess what has happened when I have taken the “I’m bigger than you!” tact when a bolt doesn’t want to screw on? Yea, that’s right. I’ve know the definition of cross-threaded when I was four. This puzzle was created to teach people, who otherwise would have never been exposed to the handyman life, how easy easy it is to cross-thread a nut and bolt. I’ve solved one or two of these Hanayama puzzles, and my biggest takeaway is the solution never requires strength. (Think about the physique of a typical puzzle-solver, and the stupidity of creating a puzzle that requires the user be able to bench their own weight) <— not gonna happen! If after the casting process, when the threads are cut (I suspect on a CNC) they used stricter tolerance, the puzzle wouldn’t be as susceptible to cross-threading. Why they don’t do that is a mystery to me. The only guess I have is for cost reduction. The same could be said for the nut size in relation to the bolt. I suspect the solvability isn’t changed either way if the nut and bolt fit wasn’t as sloppy. So yea… this thing is cool, and I’d buy it again. I was able to solve it in about ten minutes. Maybe I got lucky. Scratch that. I’m not going to lie to you. I got lucky. I’m kind of a halfwit, and if I were you, I’d ignore everything I’ve written here. And if you’re still reading this, then the joke’s on you buddy!! Ha!
Tricky Puzzle
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This is a tricky puzzle, but once you get the hang of it you try to solve it faster.
Genial
Muy buen rompecabezas solo que al momento de manipularlo queda un poco flojo pero es muy divertido y buen material esta muy macizo.
Good quality.
Despite my initial concerns when I started playing with this it is actually good quality. This will make more sense once you've solved the puzzle.I actually solved this accidentally. So that was awkward.
Simple, elegant, stupendously difficult
I acquired this puzzle as my first puzzle into the foray into brain teaser puzzles. This puzzle consists of 3 pieces and requires you dismantle and re-assemble the puzzle. My friends and I have probably poured a few hours each (taking turns) into the puzzle. We had no difficulty disassembling the puzzle, but we have not yet solved how to reassemble the puzzle.Really awesome puzzle and great for someone looking for a challenge.
Clever
I purchased this as a gift for my uncle who likes to fiddle around with other cast puzzles I bought in the past; I looked up the solution before purchasing to see how hard it might be for him. It was enjoyable to watch him fiddle with it, and even with a couple of hints he still couldn't quite figure it out, taking him a couple of hours until he finally got it, and he thought it was clever. Definitely a good purchase for anyone already interested in cast puzzles!
