5.0 out of 5 stars Works Well
As stated. Delivered on time and package right. This my second order. They are used for many things, mostly for holding in place animal pads and tarps when needed. We have never had one break even when used outside for over a year.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Strong
These 6" clamps are, in my opinion, heavy duty. I use them to clamp a clear shower curtain between me, the mass transit bus driver, and the passengers. Social distancing at it's finest. I drive 130 miles a day in a bucket of bolts. Bouncing, jumping, jiggling. These clamps work great. They do not move. Only problem, a small one, is the plastic tips fall off all the time. That may be a problem if you care about what you are clamping onto since they may scratch it. I don't have a fig to give about scratching the bus so not a problem for me. Enjoy your clamps!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good product
Good product. Just wish they were stainless steel
5.0 out of 5 stars Very strong and durable clamps
I live in South Florida and I bought these clamps because I use a car cover and I use the clamps to hold the car cover in place as with the winds and the rains in South Florida. They can be very brutal. I also cover my car from the sun using these clamps. I am very happy I bought them. It keeps my car cover on and I am content. They are very well-made and very strong. Would I buy them again yes I would.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for crafts!
I bought these to hold crafts together as they dried. I needed a wider opening. I was concerned they would be too strong and damage things. The frames in the picture are made of cardboard and plaster tape. The thick cushy rubber at the end is really soft. After holding these together for several hours, no damage. I will be buying more of these! Oh, they hold really tight! And... lol... they have hearts on them!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Blanket Forts
Do you have children who love a good blanket fort? Do you have children who are known to break said blanket fort roughly five minutes after you constructed it? These clamps are for you. I'm serious. I purchased these clamps for a good old-fashioned blanket fort and I am glad that I did. They make it super easy to clamp that blanket onto the back of your wooden dining room chair and that blanket isn't going anywhere. I've even clamped them to the tiny lip on a piece of furniture. It doesn't take much. But these are guaranteed to give you more than a five-minute break because your kids won't be breaking their blanket fort. Do yourself a favor and buy them. I plan to use them this summer to clamp a tarp to tree limbs for the kids to have a makeshift tent in the yard. I'll find any way to get my kids outside or to encourage creative play in a fort or tent and these are wonderful.
5.0 out of 5 stars They have great strength to hold things in place (like while glue dries).
I’m making a ukelele in a class and need lots and lots of clamps. These are perfect for the job! The ends tend to come off, however, so all I did was put a drop of superglue on each metal end, put the tip back on and done! They have the strength needed to hold everything in place. Great!
3.0 out of 5 stars Low cost, low quality spring clamps
These clamps are fairly cheap. For light duty work, I'm sure they'll be fine, but they are clearly not high quality. The metal around the hinge flexes noticeably when they are fully opened, and the spring tends to jump around a bit as well. The rubber pads that protect the metal jaws also come off easily, which is non ideal. Probably fine for the amount they cost, but definitely not a great clamp.
Excelente relación calidad/precio
Las pinzas se sienten sólidas. Preferí comprar estas metálicas porque son más duraderas. El problema es que son un poco más pesadas que las de plástico pero no tengo problema con ello. Las uso para estirar una pantalla verde. Excelente compra.
Value for money
I was half expecting a semi weak clamp with the cuts and fabrication deformations, but the clamping force although not arthritis inducing as I recall from those solid steel clamps used on the car-boots, these have a very strong clamping force that exceeds my dad's plastic 6" clamps, so win win!.The rubber tips will come off when force is applied towards the handle as expected, use hot glue to stop that. The four turn spring is 3 mm diameter and is loose in its fixing so breakage repairable. The securing pin is under spec for my liking may require a bolt replacement in the future. The rubber is neither stiff nor soft. 55/65 mm jaw width hilt/tip. Made in china engraved on each handle inline with the rubber grip.I bought these to hold together wood when gluing and these will do an excellent job.Good Quality and excellent price!
Good value
Good quality, exactly what I required for clamping a 17ft stitch and glue kayak together while the glue dried. Stronger grip then the plastic versions. Plastic grip covers can work loose but not a big problem to put the back again
Excelente calidad.
Me gusto por que lo que uso para mi trabajo y poder sostener textiles pesados y estos clips son excelentes, 100% recomendables.
As described
Winter use, I will let you know how they hold up in -30 plus winters.
