We’ve been using this product for about a year. I have two ten year old pups, one who is very picky on what she’ll eat (no Bravecto) and the other not.They both scarf these down like treats — so they seem fairly satisfying as taste goes.When I started looking for a glucosamine supplement, we tried several. Price and flavor were my initial concerns. To be really honest, I don’t know that I expected to really notice a physical difference.To preface, I got both my guys at an animal shelter when they were assumed to be around 1yo. Mae was ferile, emaciated and had definite physical trauma that led me to believe she’d had a rough first year of life in the wild. Jasper has always been a social guy who loves food and has always been on a diet. Not active at all. Very short, stumpy legs which I’ve always been warned would be arthritis prone.Point being: I’m not sure about injuries sustained prior to adoption. But if I had to guess, I’d expect Mae to have some arthritis related to injury and life on the run.Mae has slowed down as she’s gotten older - and she’s always been very active. I can’t say I’ve seen an improvement in her movement with these supplements, but she’s not gotten worse since we started this glucosamine.Jasper had knee surgery 2.5 years ago — he has lost weight since then and is right where he’s supposed to be. However, I really noticed a change in him with initiating this supplement. He is a new dog! He is active - and he has never been what I’d describe as an active dog. In fact, I have cut back to one chew a day for him just so I can keep up!I have been so pleasantly surprised by how agile he seems. I do relate it to this product and highly recommend it to everyone who asks!I hope everyone has a Jasper response to this product. It really has been a life changer for him. I’m sure it’s helped Mae in ways I can’t necessarily see.

I've given my pug glucosamine supplements for years now as he gets older...(he's 8 1/2) now, and have a brand that I like. However, we just adopted a new dog who is 12 1/2 years old and has no teeth, so I needed to find a hip and joint supplement that was a soft chew instead of a tablet. I'm very picky about what I feed my dogs so I was very pleased to find this product, which is made in the USA, is all natural, and grain free. What I liked most is that with one soft chew (his dose since he's a 12lb mini dachshund mix) had 500mg of glucosamine! Many of the other brands only had between 200-300 per chew. I opened the package and the chews weren't all stuck together, they were soft (could break them in half easily), but not crumbly. I didn't care for the smell, but then I wasn't the one who was going to be eating them. Last night I gave them to my dogs. My pug (26lbs) gobbled it up whole no problems. For my little doxie mix I broke it in half and gave it to him in two bites. He gobbled them up and looked for more! I don't know how well this product works yet as yesterday was the first dose. But I'll update my review in 4-6 weeks and let you know how my dogs are responding to it. If they respond well to it I plan on continuing to purchase this product and giving it to both of my dogs for life!

We give this supplement to our seven year-old and eight year-old labradors and they both love the taste! The seven-year-old labrador has had two knee surgeries in the last year and the doctor saw the beginning of arthritis so we opted to start giving both of them a supplement to help them as they got older. They both are still very active and are doing great!

I was excited to begin using this product for my dog who is entering his senior years. Unfortunately, he vomited the first time trying one. I waited a few days and tried again and he couldn’t keep it down. I have even tried cutting them into 4ths (and they are small!) but he will not even touch it. I wanted the product to work for my dog because the ingredients are pretty great, but it just won’t work for my dog.

My Chihuahua is on four medicines. I can lay all four on the floor for her to eat. But when she sees this med. she grabs it right away and leaves the other three on the floor until she eats this brand.They have always been nice and moist.I definitely would recommend them.

I have given this supplement to my Frenchie for a long time. I noticed the change in appearance, so I decided to reach out to the company to inquire. Indeed, this product has been reformulated. The hyaluronic acid was decreased, but the price of the supplement was not decreased. I will not be purchasing anymore.

My Dog Doesn't Limp Any More

My 6 year old lab was diagnosed with arthritis in his left elbow via x-ray four months ago. The vet wanted him on gabapentin for the rest of his life. We did trial it in the beginning. However, for the last 3 months, my dog has only been on Fera Hip & Joint Supplements and an additional omega 3 supplement from Costco. He has not limped in over a month and is showing no symptoms of pain!!

My dog is picky and it is hit or miss if she'll eat a chew supplement, and picks out any pill type of supplement. She'll actually eat these ones!

My dog will eat almost anything (including pine cones but he won't eat these. I have to break them up to disguise them. I haven't noticed much of a difference in his jounts to be honest. I edited my review to commend the customer service of this company, who contacted me to make it right. I had already ground the tablets down in a chopper to a fine powder to make it easier to disguise in my dog's food. Too soon to tell if there is any improvement in his joints

My dog is 23lb, so I gave him 1 piece a day. He loved the taste of it.Unfortunately, he started vomiting on day 2, so I had to stop feeding him this.I really was hoping this to work as he is limping quite a bit. The price was quite expensive as well, so I feel pretty sad about this purchase.Updated review: the seller emailed me and gave me a full refund. i didn't expect that. thanks for being so proactive. Not for us

I normally love Fera products, but unfortunately this did nothing for our old girl. She’s 11 yrs old and having a hard time getting up from lying down, normal hind leg weakness with age. We went through two full bottles and no sign of improvement. Switched to another brand and within a week she was back to jumping on the couch and playing with our younger dogs. So it just didn’t do the trick for her.
