They were talking about lead in the water in the town I live in just one too many times. A neighbor who works for a tech company in Silicon Valley as a water engineer or some such thing recommended this water filtration system. It is easy to use and does an excellent job. Even my ice cubes are clear now! It fits most faucets (I have a very old home and had to get a new kitchen faucet - now it fits!). It is kind of expensive (to me - I am on a small fixed income) to use as I go through at least four pitchers a day, but if you need safe drinking water, this is the way to go.

I have older CWS100 model and noted that CFW101 filters out some 60 contaminants vs 200 for the 503. Wrote customer service and was told this would fit but saw some reviews questioning this. I did have bit of trouble first time inserting but it does fit and work well. I had a Zero Water and have the tool from that to measure and was surprised that 101 registered 145 but 503 registered 245. Zero of course registered zero. But so long as filters out contaminants I find flavor of the water better with Clear 2 0. Hope this helps those wondering of the 503 filter will work in place of the 101 filter.

This is different from all the gravity fed filters. Water from the faucet is pressure filtered through a solid block of carbon in about a minute. Each filter can handle many, many gallons of water, even well beyond the warning indicator. My wife and I have enjoyed this system for over a decade! There is a bit of inconvenience connecting the pitcher to the faucet, strong hands are needed.

We've been using the Clear2o filter for several years. Those who come to our home tell us how great our water taste so much better than their own water. We choose not to use the gravity-fed pitchers because we use 2-4 gallons a day. If you have a busy family and you do your own cooking, and you want the best tasting water at a great price, then look no further.We hook the unit up to a faucet in the spare bathroom. We even take it with us on vacation so we know we will have great-tasting water.

I like this system very much, as it fills quickly, and is out of the way when not in use. This is a nice price for these :)My wife likes less the need to connect up the accessory hose for refills. It can get difficult, but when I put a little vegetable oil with a q-tip and apply to the faucet adaptor, and the male end of the accessory hose, things slip together much easier again, making the connection easy and more secure.

Certainly a lot faster and much better than my old Pur pitcher filters. I could run at least 5 gallons thru the Clear2o filters while waiting on the 1st gal to run thru the Pur.

Best I have found worth every penny. Far better than Brita.

A far better product than any Brita. It actually removes lead etc, Refills quickly and tells you when to change filters accurately.

Seemed slow to get the shipment out, and the prices seem to have jumped a lot in price, but from what I understand they have discontinued making them. So the jump in price is understandable. Other than that I really like the Clear20 water filter system. Makes our city water taste so much better.

These filters work well for my water picture
