5.0 out of 5 stars Great to have on hand

It also can be mixed in to enhance the flavor of cream sauces.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful product
I like making my own sauces, and use this when I can. I also use this in my yogurt and cheese making recipes. Makes my yogurt thicker which is what I like
4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t mix well in liquid, fine for cooking and baking
I have tried a lot of methods to create a liquid cream product and have been unable to get this to blend without clumps. A frother, immersion blender, whisk don’t work. Trying those with a water base or a milk base. Leaving to sit overnight. Just won’t blend well. For putting in cooked dishes it does blend in. Baking uses are fine too. Really wish I could make this smooth to have cream in the fridge for coffee.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy cream powder
A reliable, practical alternative to liquid cream that doesn’t compromise much on taste or quality. Highly recommended for home cooks and travelers alike. Love to add to biscuits and breads.
5.0 out of 5 stars Real Cream Taste
Bought as a coffee creamer.. I could not get it to unclump. Made the mistake of using a shaker to make cream and it whipped! I went back to powdered creamer. I am looking for a budget friendly healthy creamer. I will experiment some more.
1.0 out of 5 stars My taste test of four main brands of Heavy Cream Powder
I ordered the four main brands of heavy cream powder I could find, mixed all and did a taste test straight, as well as mixed with my favorite powdered milk (Peak) to create a "half and half". In order from best to worst these were my preference:1. Judee's Heavy Cream Powder - closest to the mild sweet taste of fresh cream2. Anthony's Heavy Cream Powder - reminds me of raw grass fed cream and milk I've gotten from a co-op - has a grassy cow-y taste that I am not a fan of, even if it's actually more natural. Once mixed with powdered milk that farm taste is less pronounced and the two come together well enough to create a fair approximation of fresh full cream milk. If I hadn't tried Judee's I'd probably settle for this one, but since Judee's is much better, I dumped it.3. WillPowder Heavy Cream Powder - my first taste hit me with a strong industrial refrigerant or walk-in freezer taste - if you've ever had desserts from a restaurant stored too long in their display case so the cream picked up that distinctive refrigerated smell that your own fridge doesn't have, or if you've ever noticed that smell in a restaurant's walk in freezer - that is what this tastes like. I thought maybe after it was mixed and settled overnight or even two days it might dissipate, but it did not. The texture is fine but the taste is not. I dumped it.4. Hoosier Hill Farm Heavy Cream Powder - an odd unpleasant taste. Nothing like cream. Surprising, because I like other Hoosier Hill Farm products. Dumped it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Nor for whipped cream
Not a substitute for whipped cream.
5.0 out of 5 stars Powdered heavy cream
Arrived quickly. Nice amount for dollars spent and the convenience of always having heavy cream on hand
Quite pleased with the taste
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I have tried Hosiers whole milk powder in my coffee and tea and didn't like the taste. It would not replace the half and half that I have been using. So I bought this heavy creem powder to try it out. I put one level tablespoon of heavy creem powder in my 12 oz cup along with the tea bag before adding the boiling water. The hot water helps the powder dissolve and after about 2 minutes of stirring, the powder had completly dissolved with no lumps or chunks floating on the surface. Now for the taste test. It does not taste exactly like real creem but is an excellent substitute for hiking and traveling. I would give the taste a 90% rating compared to real creem. Much better than skim milk powder or whole milk powder. I will definately buy this product again as it is the best substitute I have yet to come across to replace real creem. Much healthier than Coffee Mate which is made up of chemicals and contains no milk products what so ever.Update re shelf life: Some reviewers have noted the short shelf life when stored at room temperature. This does not apply if kept in the freezer as it will keep for years if frozen and does not have to be unthawed to use as there is no difference in usage between frozen and thawed in it's consistency. Also, this product is available in 2 lb containers now to save cost. Product label now says no hormones were used in it's manufactor which was a concern of mine since US dairy usualy comes from cows treated with growth hormones to increase production.
Excellent Keto Product
I use this in coffee and love it - it does need to be blended or stirred very well but gives a nice creamy taste. I love how I can take a container with me and use it on the go (a good go mug with a tight lid works well to shake it up). Great added to low carb soups too for a creamy taste.
Expensive for a 3/4 Full Container
I live in a rural area of Ontario & got this mainly to add to protein shakes if I run out of heavy cream. The taste is very good in my shakes & fine in coffee as long as the coffee is very hot so it blends well together.Be aware tho, that since it is sold by weight, when you get the container, it is only 3/4 full which is disappointing at this price point.
Good, but difficult to mix.
Difficult to mix but the taste is quite good and certainly excellent for any baking/cooking requirements. Cost is a tad high.
Good Stuff
Hard to find cream without additives (emulsifiers, etc). This product was purchased to make ice cream. Ice cream turned out great without any of the side affects that occur when using cream that contains additives. Works great when making butter chicken. Tastes like heavy cream should. Long shelf life. Great value!
