This is the best thing I have ever bought. It is super comfortable, extremely adjustable in almost every direction, great craftsmanship, reinforced seams, provides so much support, and I can walk normally in it. It has THICK straps with Velcro that will not come undone, and the lacing underneath allows it to conform to your foot very well. I bought because i damaged the inner tendon in my ankle about 3 weeks ago, and walking would bring on random bursts of pain if my ankle experienced any kind of instability, even at undetectable levels (like stepping on a freakin pebble). So i needed very acute support in all directions. When I started wear this a week ago, my ankle would still pang but not as often as without the brace. Now, my ankle never hurts when wearing it. I know it helps though, because when I take it off my ankle will hit me with that painful pang within an hour of just puttering around the house. It is very comfortable, I even wear it to bed. I prefer to wear a long sock underneath it to prevent chafe, but I have also gone without and worn the brace with flip flops. It is slim, and fits inside *some* of my shoes. My low ankle cut converse and lace up boots with both lace up and go over it, but you might need longer shoe laces! I got a size S and it is jusssst about right for my women’s size 5-6 feet (on the line). I would recommend getting a smaller size than you think you need (when in doubt), because if it is too small you will need to pull the Velcro up higher and the pokey side of it will stick above the brace and scratch your leg or stick to your sock. Little trick - don’t tie the bow for the laces at the top of the ankle on the front of the shin. The compression band that goes around the top of the brace will press that little knot right into your shin bone - ouch!! Instead, I lace it up and put the ends of the laces to the side, secure the Velcro strap around the top of my ankle, AND THEN tie the laces on top of the Velcro compression strap. Took me a day or so to figure out.

Brace is nice and sturdy and supported my ankle well, but the lacing at the top of the foot area made it hard and uncomfortable to fit into some of my shoes. Fine for sandals, but not so much for fully enclosed shoes or boots. I had to find something less bulky.

Great sturdy brace
I bought this to replace a 15yr old brace from my sister and the difference between them is so stark!! I’m happy; my ankle feels a lot more stable and sturdy. Still makes my toes lose some circulation and the outside of my foot goes numb but the feelings come back eventually, just need more time to break it in. Overall great quality brace for athletes!!

I love it really good quality I don’t say good quality easy but this is good oneWhen I walk my foot steps on the outside of my foot not inside so this makes my foot turn inwards both of them even my shoes I can see it soI tied this ankle support make it all up I feel likeI am stepping on from the Thoes like the normal way from you know what I mean so now I am buying second one I am happy if you have any problems buy this product it does keep you’re ankle straight sometimes I hear my ankle clickBut the top when you tied up the top kind of hurts my feet the side of my feed I bought medium size shoes size 10 .5 I don’t like it when something is short goes up to my closet to my pinky toes yes there it feels weird and when it’s tied it hurts
Convenient and does the job
I bought this specifically because 1) regardless of whether men/women size came (as Bolo didn’t specify) I would be identical in size (unlike other braces on Bolo which the size would vary based on the item/fit preference to size up or down/dimensions being slightly off as per the reviews I read) which gave me confidence in buying this one due to the certainty of sizing. 2) it had the option to pay more for two day delivery which a lot of other braces did not offer. I am healing from a sprained ankle therefore getting this brace within a day or two was fantastic. A bit uncomfortable at the start but just needs to be broken in within a couple days. Harder to fit in shoe than a tensor however much more supportive so that’s to be expected. Definitely wear a tall sock underneath to protect the skin from rubbing material!

Pied encore fragile après une entorse latérale. La protection fonctionne, elle empêche le pied de plier à nouveau. J'hesitais entre S et M car j'etais à la limite pour la taille. Le S a serré la premiere fois, mais parfait les fois suivante. Et ça rentre dans la chaussure. J'ai joué au tennis et hokey cosom avec, sans craindre de me blesser à nouveau.
Good Quality Material, But...
While the fit was fine and the material is very good quality, this brace doesn't have any hinges on the side, or a spot to insert any. Because of this, the brace doesn't really add stability to the ankle. It feels like it just supports my foot and arch.It's also quite bulky - difficult to put in a shoe - and actually quite uncomfortable due to seams that aren't cushioned. It digs into the top of my foot, into all sides of the ball of the heel... just small details that weren't considered.
