As a metalsmith, there seemed to be no way for me to wear nail polish- it wasn't worth the effort because it didnt stay on any longer than a few hours. A few years a go I bought the sensational set up, excited for the chance to have colored nails for once. It was rather tedious having to apply a primer, a base coat, at least two coats of color and a top coat, after all that you had to wipe off some weird almost slimy like texture that made the surface of your nails feel weird. No matter how detailed I got, the would always pop off the next day. Even after the good reviews I read I was very skeptical; there are so many companies that claim to have gel like finishes that don't come close. I couldn't believe how amazing it felt and worked! The color actually feels like it's on my nail aposed to sitting on top waiting to pop off, it goes on smoothly, cured evenly and feels solid and smooth, the color is amazing too! I'm still waiting to see how long it lasts and will update when it starts wearing, but the first impression is a winner. I'm definitely buying more colors

I've been doing my own gel nails for almost 3 years. It's really time consuming, so when I saw this all in one option, I decided to try it. I truly thought it was too good to be true. I just finished my toe nails in under 10 minutes. That's crazy!! Not having to use a base coat or top coat saved a TON of time. The finished product wasn't tacky, so using rubbing alcohol wasn't necessary. I'm anxious to see how long it lasts, if it chips, or peels. The hot pink is perfect for my upcoming trip to Mexico!!Edited: 2-19-16: I bought 3 different colors and have applied them several times. I love that it's easy and so much faster without the base and top coat; HOWEVER, you pay the price bc they chip within a few days. All of my nails are usually chipped and looking awful within 7 days. I've tried being dainty and mindful to make the polish last, but it doesn't matter. Personally, painting my nails weekly isn't a huge deal, so I'm still rating this a 4. The Caribbean blue and mocha looked slightly different in person than online, but still pretty. Also, there's definitely an unpleasant odor to the polish.Edited 10-6-16: I've ordered countless polishes and the secret to making it last longer than 7 days is to use a top coat (yes, even though it says you don't "have to."). If I'm pressed for time, I skip the top coat to be done in 10-15 minutes and my nails are chipped within days. If I have an extra 10-15 minutes, I put the top coat on to make it last twice as long. Regardless, I love the polish and keep buying more.

I purchased this so I could jump in on the holographic nails trend: (...)The powder I purchased was NICOLE DIARY 1g/Box Holographic Laser Powder Nail Glitter Rainbow Pigment Manicure Chrome Pigments, available on Bolo.I applied a black gel polish (china glaze's gel version), then this top coat. 1 cycle through my light (Gellish led), and the surface was slightly tacky, as is supposed to be. I packed on the holo powder using an eyeshadow brush (included with the powder) (you can get different effects depending on how you do this, rub it in for an allover linear holo effect, pat it in for more of a scattered effect), did my best to remove any excess, added another layer of this top coat (2x cycle with the light), and everything is perfect <3 Finish is smooth, shiny, and I was able to achieve the effect I was going for!A before version of using this without anything fancy, my manicure lasted 2 weeks until one gel nail popped off (I had been swimming), with no chipping.I think it may be contaminated with holo powder now (I didn't get the excess off my nails before adding the top coat), but that's fine, since this is the only application I plan on using this product for :)I am still getting used to the application of gel polish, and haven't had any issues from the differences between applying with my dominant hand and my other hand (lefty makes things a little thicker, oopsie).Great product, I look forward to more experimentation!

If you are going to pay this price, I recommend looking for GelMoments online - really the best quality of gel polish I have come across. Dark colours are adequate in just one coat. This blue is pretty, but it took three coats.
2 coats will do you
This lasted longer than another one step gel I tried. 2 coats gave me good coverage without being sheer but I still had chipping on one nail after a few days.
Great quality Gel Polish
I originally bought the clear gel top-coat from this brand, and after loving it so much I decided to try out their coloured gel polishes and they did not disappoint! The colour is very pigmented, and the polish cures nicely under the UV LED lamp. Soaking them off also isn't that difficult, so it's worth doing for the sake of having nail polish that won't easily chip off. I purchased Black & Deep Garnet, and I really like using the Black along with a glitter top coat, or a nail powder to make it nice and bright. Overall, I really like these polishes and they're worth the higher price point.
