Most Vit. C serums are 1 oz. for $20.I've actually never felt a Vit. C/hyaluronic acid serum absorb so well into my skin. It absolutely does not leave a filmy finish afterwards, and it's quite unique in that it feels like it completely "evaporates" by the time you finish massaging it into your skin (although I'm sure it's just being absorbed very well, hence the "did it... evaporate...?" feeling). There is truly nothing left on the surface of your skin after it is absorbed, and it leaves your skin feeling very well-hydrated.As for results, it has definitely faded my dark spots. I haven't looked too much into the research behind this, but apparently Vit. C is great for wound-healing as well. It might just be me, but when I use this on my face after I've picked at my acne (which I DON'T recommend doing unless you use a sanitized acne tool kit, gloves, etc.), I do think that my popped pimples heal faster and the dark spots fade much quicker. I can't really say how well this product works for wrinkles as I'm in my early 20's and don't have any yet.I really, HIGHLY recommend this product if you want something that will hydrate your skin without leaving a film behind, and also fade your dark spots. :)

Every so often one finds a product that is useful, comfortable and a great value. Vitamin C Serum by Asterwood Naturals qualifies. For those of us who are convinced of the healing properties of vitamin c, this external use formula for the face and neck works well to soothe skin and to keep it smooth and supple. It also works on wrinkles and age spots (I'm 77 and qualify to speak about such things) and keeps you looking younger. And it is much cheaper than other products of similar quality, which alone makes it worth trying! I should also mention that it helps greatly to control seborrheic dermatitis, used twice a day. The company that produces it is small and emphasizes customer service.

I have had this for about 72 hours and love it. I've used this basically solo for the two of the days that I didn't wear makeup at all (working from home and gave my skin a break lol!) and it feels super light but still very softening on the skin. I've been using a little in the morning but I'll probably mostly use this at night. I cleanse, do a light daily exfoliant and apply while my face is generally still damp. It absorbs/ dries quickly which is always nice. When I remove my makeup at night I do pretty much the same thing. Remove makeup with coconut oil, cleanse, serum. A little does go a long way, however if I find that I have too much I just spread it over my neck and chest - surprisingly this is easy to do because the product is lightweight/ watery (like *watery* in the best way possible) enough to spread around. Not drippy by any means and your skin feels sooo good after using. I was initially impressed by the great reviews I've seen on this product and am so not glad I went ahead and bought it. Mine came with two pumps, too! Because it's 8oz I probably won't have to replace for a few months and for the value especially it's awesome. I'd definitely buy again and am looking forward to trying out their other products!

I have been using this every day, twice a day, for 8 years. I always buy this brand over and over again. It is a simple product and I have oily skin. If I use moisturizer it feels like too much, hyaluronic acid is just the right balance and I don't need any moisturizer with it. I don't know how it works, but I love it and have loved it for years.

Pros: skin is immediately softer, livelier, fresh lookingCons: my skin is dry it’s giving me wrinkles I’ve never had before…. Stopping use immediately.I don’t know how the pros and cons here can coexist BUT THEY JUST DO.Would recommend if you don’t have overly dry skin?? After using another brand of Vitamin C serum, I decided to try Asterwood Vitamin C serum. It meets all my expectation with a clearer more evenly toned complexion, is cruelty free, made in the USA, and is a great price. There is no fragrance or stickiness and the thickness is perfect for a serum. I use it daily and really wish it would come in a 2 Oz bottle, but it only comes in 1 Oz and 8 Oz bottles. I purchase the 1 Oz on Subscribe and Save. The 8 Oz size bottle would be too large for my space.

I just received the vitamin C today & quickly cleaned my face to try it! I will post photos of my skin as well...I am 41 and have texture issues, as well as some redness & discoloration issues I would like to take care of. I usually have to cover them with highlighting & contouring makeup, this works fantastic! But I don't like that I have to do it. I am pretty good about sun protection & night cream, so most people think I am much younger than I am. But I need to work on texture, tone, elasticity & all the other good stuff. I really need more serums in my routine.When I put this product on, I could not smell any scent, which I like, and it went on like a dream! Not oily, not thick, just perfect! I felt like It soaked in right away. I did not do my makeup today, but I will certainly be able to apply it right over this. I also applied this to my neck & chest for texture improvement. I hope to post an update in 30 or so days saying it worked great!!! For this price, you can't go wrong!PS please ignore the horrible 'cleaning day' hair. Thanks!
