I love The North Face products. I am an avid backpacker/hiker and I needed a new rain jacket to keep me dry and comfortable on the trail. I love the black color of this jacket and have been comfortable wearing this around town, on my morning walk/run, and anywhere else I need. This jacket is purposefully loose-fitting so that it can be layered with other insulating layers as needed, but it's not so big that I feel like I'm drowning in it. I feel like I can move very well in this jacket, and the vents prevent it from becoming stifling inside when I start to sweat. This really a wonderful quality jacket that's perfect for an active person, and I'm excited to continue wearing it for many seasons to come!

Nice thin rain jacket. Really kept a lot of water off of me. We got stuck in New York when Hurricane Florince came through. Kept me dry from the thighs up. The Big pockets inside and out were very helpful to keep my stuff dry. And the armpit zippers were a blessing. The humidity was high.

I purchased this for my wife for our recent trip to Ireland after hearing that they can go through four seasons in a day. I must say that we were both very impressed (I purchased myself the same jacket in a Men's size Large). Some days it would pour and the jackets kept us dry. At times along the coast there would be very blustery winds and these provided very good wind protection. They also provided an excellent external layer (with a few underneath) at night when the temps dropped down. My wife being hot-natured enjoyed the zippered vents under the arms for added ventilation. The zipper/Velcro closure system was excellent at keeping out the elements and the deep inside pockets kept travel documents and tickets secure and dry. The bungee cords at the waist helped immensely with the wind and, once i learned how to use it, so did the cords in the hood which snugged the hood to my head and allowed me to have peripheral vision and kept the hood from acting like a sail during gusts.I was initially concerned over the price and hoopla that everyone gives to North Face gear but now I see why. This was the perfect purchase for our trip and I could not be more pleased. When not in use it dried quickly and could be rolled quite small to stow in our packs. I wish i had purchased a North Face years ago. Glad i have one now.

Best rain jacket for warmer climates! Bought it for Costa Rica and use it in miami. Also has a lot of pockets that’s are great and quality is good too!

I’m 5’6” and 120-125 pounds on a good day. I ordered a large because I like my rain coats to feel oversized. Over all TNF models, I chose the Venture, because it’s lightweight and still protects you from the wind, cold, and rain. The huge collar and mesh linings on the Resolve jackets (Resolve Plus, Parka, and regular Resolve) ends up making me feel hot and weighed down. The length of the Venture is 25-26 inches- where the Resolve is 24 inches, the Resolve Plus is 26 and the Resolve Parka is 27 inches. Confusing, I know! Overall, the Venture is lightest with the most protection. If you want a more form- fitting look, I would go for a medium (with my height and weight). There are so many great colors, but I couldn’t decide, so I got black. I ended up getting my tween girl an XL in Sodalite blue, and it’s gorgeous. We walked in a downpour the other day and stayed completely dry. You can’t go wrong so buy it! You won’t regret it!

Very nice jacket. I purchased a black one to give my child a green one that I bought. ( n they prefer to wear this one because of the color) I gave the jacket 4 stars because it’s definitely true to size.

This rain jacket is thin and lightweight It folds easily too. I love the fit. I got a small, and it fits perfectly.(I am 5’3” and thin, athletic build) It is great quality--NorthFace of course! Price on Bolo is terrific. At Dick’s Sporting it is $99 right now.

Die Jacke gefällt mir ganz gut, vor allem weil sie gut geschnitten ist. Nach zwei Jahren bekommt der weiße Innenstoff allerdings an vielen Stellen Löcher. Ich habe gehofft, dass eine Jacke diesen Preises etwas länger hält.

I bought this because The North Face has never left me down… they make perfect gear, this is breathable, super light, packable, excellent wind lock and weather resistance in a flash… doesn’t get clammy!
