Now the shipping was pretty fast on the sellers part so props to them. I am a young 19 year african american male. Since my first facial hair that started to grow in the 6th grade (yeah i know) i have tried everything under the sun to shave. my hair doesnt grow uniformly like i would like it to dod but it grows sparsely all over my face as a mess. i really hated it. It was such a depressing fact, comming from someone who dresses nicely but my facial hair would mess up the whole outfit.Sucks when youre trying to woo the opposite sex huh. Everytime i went to the barber for a complete haircut and shave of a shapeup it will begin to grow back on the beginning of the 2nd day. It was annoying and expensive to go get a shapeup once a week to control my hair.I bought an andis liner and it was pretty ok until the blade got dull and it wasnt as smooth as i wanted it to be as if i came from the barber Once i began to use electric and ESPECIALLY MANUAL shavors, here comes razor bumps. The multi- blade shavers are great for smooth looks and up close shaving but the irritation afterwards and ever facial killer razor bumps. it was disgusting! all over my neck and face looking like a mountain range! it was painful to touch and had to wait until it went away a week later while my hair is still growing. i hated. i was desperate, i tried nair on my face (disaster). i tried single straight blades, but had terrible technique, electric shavers are pretty expensive. and to be honest most shavers were made for caucasians,not minorities who really doesnt suffer from razor bumps. even the so called sensitive skin razors that wasnt much of a difference.so, i went on a google search and looked up on a solution for weeks. I finally made a search of "bumpless shaver" and was brought to this product. i checked on the reviews and seen other african american reviews and were happy i found something. but the pricing point and some of the negative reviews swayed me away for a week or too. after seeing my facial hair mess in the mirror, i decided to take a chance with this believe its my last optionwhen i first used it i had my beard at the longest length thinking it would work. that first night it didnt do a thing. i was pissedd that i spent $50 on it. i read the manual and tried again, but once again no luck. i honestly believed that nothing would work. i immediately order for a refund and to send it back. due to work (thankfully) i wasnt able to send it back for about 4 days. during those four days i had an important event and went to the barber to clean my face up . on the morning of the 2nd day i saw that my hair was creeping out again. so i tried one more despearte attempt at this shaver. and it was as if god himself was cleaning my face. it was a miracle!!. the little stubble that was growing was gone. absolutely gone. i nearly had tears in my eyes when i saw this. but i did have some facial irriation to this shaver. i was terrified that my face was going to break out terribly because it was such a close shave to the skin and that spells out doom for my face. but nothing has popped up. Over the next couple of nights i continued to shave to prevent my hair from comming back and the irritation slowly went away as my face got used to it. i immediately cancelled my refund request and i will continue to buy this product once this one stop working.now tips to other people:1) you cannot shave with a full beard and think that it was take it away. look on the holes on the head. it is way too small to fit a fully grown facial hair. its a maintainer not a shaver.2) also it is pretty noisy but unless you live inside a library, it shouldnt be that big of a problem to hear for less than 5 minutes a day3) yes yes you pretty much have to shave everyday if u want a clean look. this is for me, other people hair growth rate varies but if it similar to mine pretty much everyday once a day in the night or morning. but less than 5 minutes would be suffice4)this thing doesnt affect any detailed facial hair designs. i have a goatee and a strip of hair extending from the bottom of my head hair along my jawline to the goatee. it goes right past it without a hair shaved. keeps it tight and clean inbetween haircuts.i hope everyone enjoys this review and it answers your questions about this product

My barber uses this shaver. I looked it up and bought one for myself between shaves. I am a bald guy by choice, so i need to shave my head every 3 days to keep stubble away. Much too expensive to see a barber every week. Now i can see barber every other week or so, and keep my head shaved in between barber visits. Shaver works flawlessly as it does for him.Use generous amounts of local store brand lectric shave, no need for name brand liquidsNeeds a thorough cleaning after each use, about 60 seconds worthLittle no no mess on counter/sinkHeres the best part, i used it for 60 seconds until the battery died, (did not charge it 1st, wanted to run it dry/dead) plugged it in, and finished the shave, WHILE PLUGGED IN ... amazing shaver.I have already recommended to several friends

I know this is marketed as a men's razor. However, I have used electric razors for years because they are quicker and less messy than safety razors. Unfortunately, I had found only one electric razor marketed specifically to women that gave a decent shave and it is no longer available. I have found that the foil razors work better for women than the rotating heads. So when I needed to replace my old razor, I started looking at men's razors. I read all the info on the Wahl and decided to give it a try. IT's THE BEST ELECTRIC RAZOR I HAVE USED SO FAR! It shaves my legs almost as close as a safety razor without the nicks and razor burn. I even use it on my face (yes, that comes with being 67 yo.) I followed the directions carefully and it requires very little pressure to get an excellent shave. Like the directions say, "Just let it glide over the surface of the skin." If you push on it too hard, you will surely get a bad rash, burn. It even did a good job on my underarms. I use it every other day and that is sufficient. No more ingrown hairs or bumps! Even though it's marketed for men, the burgundy color with the gold foil is fashionable enough for any woman. I would recommend this razor to other women, young or older.

Razor is not packed well from the manufacturer. When I received it, the razor was rattling around in the box. The razor appears to be undamaged and does work well.

First of all, I'm going to leave my original review below. Because it was all true!Unfortunately, after exactly 2 weeks of using this razor twice a day (because if I only used it once it had a hard time getting the hairs) the metal screen part chipped and I ended up getting razor burn on my head!!!I immediately went to walmart and bought a cheaper $49 razor that seems to work equally as well as this one did. It seems that if you want a close shave on your head you just need to use one with this type of head (the two humps)I am having to return it to Bolo...--Below is my original review, which is still true and would be 5 stars had it not broken in 2 weeks--I tried to use it cordless after about 10 minutes of charge and it instantly died.. so I went ahead and used it with the cord because I have been 2 days w/o shaving.. and I was impressed. I seriously think this first cut was better than a razor...! It definitely struggled with longer hairs so I had to run my clippers over my head first because I have very thick fast growing hair... I'll try to remember to update my review after I've been using it for a while.. So far out of the box I'm thoroughly impressed!update : does not catch all of the hair so I often have to wioe my head and shoulders off while shaving.Motor runs a tiny bit better while plugged in.. but does fairly well wireless.I personally have to shave daily or else it wont work very well. So for tht reason Ill probably buy a secondary electric razor for when my hair gets a tad bit too long for this razor.. but worth it due to how close this one shaves..But ultimately still shaves closer than any other electric razor Ive used. Seriously close if not equal to a blade razer...

Don't waste your money on this product, my advise is that buying offline is the best option for products like these.

Utterly disappointed.
Parts of gold foil came off in the very first shave. Now shaving has become utterly uncomfortable. Replacement foil costs around Rs 2000. I will not recommend the product at all.
