It's pretty sweet, but there was a problem – the previous owner apparently had a serious smoking habit. The car smelled like a chimney! Seriously, it was intense.We used the Arm & Hammer "New Car" smell eliminator, and wow, what a difference! It was amazing how quickly it worked – just two days and poof! The ashtray aroma was completely gone. Now it just smells like a normal, clean car.

This product does the trick. It helped reduce the cigarette smell in my dad’s car. I purchased 2 and put one in front and one in back. It is long lasting. After 2 months, still going strong. I recommend.

I bought this for my large SUV to help combat the funky smells from my AC during Florida summers. Not only did it eliminate any trace, it's lasted about a month consistently and has yet to show signs of weakening.If my car sits for a day or two, the smell is a little strong, but it quickly normalizes after the air circulate. Overall, it's a great value; much moreso than the air vent clips, which seem to last just s few weeks. Installing was just removing a seal and putting it in the car. It only took a few seconds, and was very simple.It can be hidden away under a seat, but I didn't love that idea since it could slide or roll around; that led to my only real problem: the design--bright white plastic with a vibrant label--really sticks out in my otherwise-black car. It was challenging to find a place where it was both secure and out of sight. This isn't a deal breaker, but certainly a consideration when deciding if this will work well in your car.

To preface, I live in Hawaii so it's pretty hot here. It arrived mostly liquid but it smells great. I just didn't like that it was messy and dyed my fingers blue.

This thing is atomic! it'll rot your brain!I peeled the foil cover off slightly, and I couldnt stand the smell of the car.I returned the foil on the top and put cover back on and still could smell it - needed to throw it away!This is not 'New car smell' - not even close.

This is a great air freshener, with a smell that is very much non-offensive. The odor eliminator seems very much effective. It also features an adjustment switch, so you can adjust how much freshener is exposed. The only problem I've had with this is some of the gel liquid can leak.Something to keep in mind, however: it is best to clean up the source of any odors in your vehicle, first, and air it out if possible. This will help make sure the odor gets eliminated, and not just masked.Would recommend

My car, at 4.5 years old, was stating to smell its age. This cleared up the odour in record time. It smells nice, albeit a bit bathroom-ish. But it is effective and long lasting, great small size that you can just chuck in your backseat or trunk.

Be careful to open the film
The smell is good.But this time the gel and liquid were separated in the container. When I open the lid, liquid splashed onto my car sheet and shirt.I had to throw away my shirt and it was quite tough to remove it from my car sheet. I directly send email to the seller, but they never respond to me for 1 week! So I post here. Terrible customer service

Nice smell , bought a car that someone had smoked in. Helped a bit but honestly deep cleaning and time needed as well.
