Delicious shwarma seasoning. The jar is a bit small but it is really fresh and aromatic. I feel like the quality is there for the cost based on the flavor. I made a marinade for chicken with this shwarma seasoning, greek yogurt, lemon zest and juice, garlic and olive oil. Every one loved it. I am buying it again.

This is pretty good. While I haven't tried other shawarma spice blends, we are BIG Indian / middle eastern / Mediterranean cuisine aficionados and have tried almost all of the restaurants, all of the various dishes. We like the big, bold, freshly-ground spice flavors. I used this for the most basic application: chicken shawarma kebabs. Stir the spice with olive oil to make a paste, cube the chicken, drop it in the paste and spread around. Put it on a kebab and grill until nice and crispy. Drizzle additional oil on each side - once just before flipping and one just after flipping. Kind of hard to screw it up. For this, it was perfect. Extremely good flavor, good spice mix. In fact it was so good, we had the same dish two nights in a row. First night was just-us (kids out of the house)... next night with the kids home... and they liked it so much they polished off the entire dish of chicken. Absolutely loved it.It's not very spicy as-is and can use some salt. But, this is good enough to keep stocked in my cabinet. It'll be a good staple spice for chicken, lamb.

This spice blend is truly wonderful. It has the lovely warmth of a good shawarma without being at all overwhelming. It's a go-to component for so many things for me. I use a bit in my split pea soup, even, and it made it "to die for" good!

Schwarma is not supposed to taste like curry. Schwarma has a juicy Mediterranean char taste which is sumptuous. If you purchase this exotic bottle expecting the spice blend usually on schwarma meat you will be disgusted with the overwhelming curry smell and taste. I am just mystified. If you want curry get one of those curry blocks that last forever. This is misnamed and misleading. ITS CURRY. And it will wreck your expensive meat. People who have always eaten curry like India or even England would prolly enjoy this spice. But for the rest of us who find curry to be omnipresent and overpowering, it would have been nice to have a warning on it so curry haters wouldn’t get fooled. I did and I say save your pennies for the correct spice blend to create your schwarma, recipes in any cookbook for Mediterranean foods or on the web
