Definitely kept me fuller for longer !! I also add it to homemade vegan icecreams for an extra creamy texture. Good buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best C8: packaging, manufacture, contents, source, service and all!
I've tried three different pure C8 oils all from seemingly reputable companies. Quite honestly I didn't notice too much difference between Lifesense and the others: all high performance and clean. But this is what won me over with this brand:- Packaged in HDPE plastic: I was seeking either HDPE or glass. It seems that one other brand of C8 which was packaged in glass I found (which I had considered but not purchased) had terrible lids that deteriorated on contact with the C8 and leaked during shipping according to their customer reviews. Others use PET plastic or plastic pumps inside glass bottles which can still react with C8.- The Lifesense bottle has a lift and peel seal underneath the lid, ensuring freshness and safety for consumption and during shipping- Excellent pouring lid. Thank you for this convenience! In fact, the whole bottle is great with the handle for easy management.- Processed without chemicals, ie., mechanically and with distillation- The cost per ounce is very competitive- Manufactured in the US- Prior to purchase, I had reached out directly to Lifesense to ask for clarity on their extraction process and received a personal reply from Dr. Alvin Berger, one of the cofounders of the company. His response was very concise and he also provided extra documentation and links to his own research, other research and other company links. I truly didn't feel like this was a high pressure sale but a genuine intent to informI've been using C8 in my coffee for over a month now along with cultured grass-fed butter and have received excellent results in mental clarity especially, increased energy and weight loss. My husband decided to start too just a couple of days ago. He doesn't drink coffee so I prepared it with butter and his favorite mint tea along with some green jasmine tea for a bit of caffeine. He did experience some stomach upset. I attribute it to the green tea as he is particularly sensitive to caffeine, and also perhaps the C8 which I mildly experienced when I started with C8 too. Heed the warning on the label.Lifesense's C8 and Dr Berger have earned my trust and loyalty. I'll be purchasing all of my C8 from here from now on and have already recommended this product to my friends.
5.0 out of 5 stars The worthy MCT C8 product.
According to the seller, I was informed that the purity is 98%+ (98%-99%), literally lower than several pure C8 MCT oil products I searched on Bolo. But the price was absolutely the lowest when I placed the order. The bottle is soft and seems cheap, however, it doesn't matter. No strong scent or taste of oil. Since my stomach is quite sensitive to C6 and C10, stomachache or diarrhea, I just feel a tiny uncomfortable with mixing one tbsp of this C8 and just pre-workout powder in water. In conclusion, it is good. But if the purity could be higher, it would be 100% perfect.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pure C8 Only oil from Coconuts
I have purchase this several times, because even though the price has been creaping up, it still is the best value to its nearest competitor in quality/value at always a lower price. The competitor I purchased once, due to them having a Glass bottle and Proper material pump to dispense product, at a premiun price point of course.I can rely on this product to be exactly what they say it is, pure C8 only oil derived from a Coconut source.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best quality small chain MCT
If you are looking for a high quality source of fat this is it!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best I've tried and I like supporting a company that is promoting public awareness (check their website for tons of great info)
The best I've tried without a doubt! The reason this works better than all the others I've tried is because it's almost exclusively c8 (the most ketogenic) of the mct oils and the one that our bodies use most effectively for energy production. C10 is less effective with a portion of the energy (calories) being stored as fat so you're only getting a portion of the benefits. I've read much of what is on ketomct's website and substantiated much of this with future research. I've also listened to the owner on a podcast called ketovangelist / ketogenic athlete. Their ketomct website and the podcasts have ton's of great info. Check out ketogenic bible too. I have no affiliation with any of these, they've simply been helpful for me.Data aside I feel the most invigorated when using this stuff but just like all mct oils start small and work your way up as GI issues (read disaster pants) is imminent if you don't. I mix this with coffee or tea and either full fat coconut milk or heavy whipping cream. By combining with a fat you slow the digestion and increase the time you feel super charged while also minimizing your likely hood of GI issues. From what I've read you can get benefits from this without engaging in a lchf/ ketogenic diet. My experience involves incorporating c8 mct (I've been using ketomct) and a ketogenic diet. I've bought the 3 pack several times saving a few $$. This is also the most economical c8 version I've found which is awesome if you're into saving money too!
5.0 out of 5 stars Minimal taste, adds a little boost to my coffee in the morning!
I wanted to try adding a reputable MCT C8 oil to my coffee in the morning, after reading about the benefits of MCT oil on alertness, etc. I truly do experience a little brain boost, more than I noticed with coffee alone, and I only add 1 Tbsp to my cup, and usually just the first cup. My fiancee stated she thought the same, giving her a mental boost in the morning when it usually took her a little longer to get going. It has minimal flavor, so it doesn't seem to change the coffee too much for me, other than an oily appearance on the surface. From what I read on various blogs and searching online, Lifesense is a reputable brand, doesn't mislabel their product stating it is 100% C8 (as that is not possible), and I feel good about ordering MCT from them. Does it make my coffee a little more expensive in the morning? Yes, but I think it is worth it for me, and if you are on the fence like I was for so long, you should give it a try. Reach out to them if you have any issues with the product. I have not had to do so, but their communication with me seems to indicate a company that takes customer service seriously.
