BUT they have to be WEARABLE. As in I want to be able to wear them at least four or five hours and to be able to stand in them!HERE ARE MY PROS AND A COUPLE CAVEATS for the 8.5 BLACK PATENT AND THE REGULAR BLACK LEATHER (GOT BOTH :-))PROS:QUALITY - REALLY like the quality of these. They came from ZAPPO'S, so can't speak to what you may get from a different vendor. INSIDE is great, just enough cushion and support.PRICE - I got these when they were about forty bucks, GREAT DEAL for CLARK'S and for my one DRESSY pair of heels. QUALITY, LOOKS AND GREAT PRICE.LOOKS - OK I didn't think THIS was possible. Because of the small platform at the front, for a heel that is this high, these are COMFY and easy to wear. I don't feel I am TOTTERING on them. I LOVE they don't look like old lady heels! THESE would be great for any special occasion you needed something a bit dressy.FIT - I found these true to size, I wear an 8.5 in just about anything but flip flops, but GET READY FOR A COUPLE CAVEATS AND SOME ADVICE BELOW!CAVEATS AND ADVICE for those of you who may have ANY foot issues:I have bunions. MODERATE, but DEFINITELY THERE. AND I broke my toe next to my big toe, so it sticks UP a bit and can rub on just about any pair of shoes or boots so I put a SILICONE TOE SLEEVE ON IT (otherwise it will rub and bleed). Those silicone toe sleeves are GREAT if you have a toe or toes that stick up from being broken, corns and VARIOUS VENDORS sell on Bolo.IN SPITE of the bunions, THIS SHOE FITS (and I didn't get a WIDE, just a regular 8.5). NOW, the toe that sticks UP, NO SHOE can really accommodate that, that's where the silicone toe sleeve comes in to keep it from rubbing.BLACK PATENT isn't QUITE as comfy as the regular leather and won't stretch like regular leather, but do a wee bit (FYI, for the PATENTS, if you put them on and put your hair dryer on LOWEST WARM setting and run back and forth, again on lowest WARM setting, it softens them up and helps stretch a bit). I THOUGHT of trying these in a wide, but that wouldn't really help the toe that sticks up, so staying with the regular 8.5. IN SPITE of some toe issues, I have a fairly narrow foot. YOU MAY WISH to try a wide and the regular and send back whichever one doesn't work.OVERALL, I GIVE THIS A RESOUNDING FIVE! At my age, with my foot issues, to be able to WEAR this shoe (not sure I would want to WALK IN IT FOR HOURS, but that goes for MOST FLATS AND HEELS) and not be in pain? To get this quality at this price?IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A NICE, YET COMFY, DRESS SHOE, TRY IT. You can also return them and I can't imagine any heel this high being as comfortable as these are!

True to size (7.5). Because they are brand new, the leather was very stiff. I have very thin skin, so I blister easily.Lathered on Mink Oil, rolled the heel of shoes back and forth as well as side-to- side to soften the leather, which is the equivalent to breaking them in. Additionally, Mink Oil waterproofs. Let stand overnight. Now very comfy. No issues. Love style of the toe and the 3 inch heel. These are interchangeable for dress or casual wear. I prefer dressy. If leather is too stiff for you and uncomfortable, simply lather on and rub in the Mink Oil to soften and stretch. Do so, and then I strongly recommend these shoes.

These are the perfect basic pump that are impossible to find, especially in a heel that isn’t too high and in a wide width! Without trying them on, it’s always hard to tell so I ordered both an 8 1/2W and a 9W. While they both felt comfortable in the height and toe box, my heel apparently is too narrow and slipped out of both sizes. :( Sadly, both pairs will be returned and the hunt continues.

The media could not be loaded. These shoes are comfortable and durable. For sure an upgrade from any other I've owned. I love the Clark's brand because they always offer wide options and they put the extra mile in their comfort and pain relief. The color is a nice versatile black leather, which pairs well with any outfit. They have added support in the heel and bottom of the foot area and I've worn them a few times and have not gotten any blisters. I did have to size down half a size and once I did they were much easier to walk in and I'm a happy customer!

These pumps replaced a much-worn set of black patent heels I've owned for 10 years. As the years have passed, I have started understanding the importance of quality footwear. I initially ordered the 8.5 per reviewer comments regarding a smaller fit. But, the first pair was returned to move down a size to an 8. After finding the best size for me, I've worn these pumps for three weeks receiving numerous compliments.I am very happy with the size 8 fit. In my opinion, these shoes run slightly smaller than some brands, but not enough to size down by a half size. After wearing for three weeks, I've found these pumps fit very well and are comfortable even while using a standing desk.The only downfall (although not enough to deduct a star) is the finish around the heel being prone to damage. Within the first week of wear, I distinctly recall two instances when I marred the patent finish where the heel is closest to the ground (one of the two instances was stepping in a crack crossing the parking lot).Overall, beautiful, classic pumps. And, with free returns, I was able to find the best fitting size for me. I would buy these again.

I have had these shoes for about 8 or 9 months now. The outsides are getting roughest up a bit but I still love them. I wear them almost daily to work and other events and sure maybe a 4 star for them breaking apart on the outside but then I remember I paid $30 for them. They are super comfortable with no extra insoles. They sound great when walking and not stupid hallow like my $40 shoes do to me. I'm actually here to see if they have other colors so I can switch up my look. Love love them

I ordered a size 10.5 size shoe and when the shoes arrived and I tried them on my feet, I noticed that the shoes felt big. I look at the size and the size was an eleven. I was upset and I couldn't return the shoes because I needed to wear them to a business function. So, I emphasized by putting tissue inside of the shoe to keep my feet secured in the shoes. Otherwise, the shoes are durable and affordable for the comfort of a flat footed person to wear all day.

Sehr lange Lieferzeit, Plastiksohle - aber bequem und chic!
Nach wochenlangem Warten kam der Schuh endlich an - directly from the USA! Leider zunächst in der falschen Größe ... also wieder wochenlanges Warten. Wenn Frau kurzfristig Schuhe benötigt, ist sie hier schon mal falsch!Die Qualität ist enttäuschend: die Sohle ist aus einem einzigen Stück Plastik, in der ganzen Länge und Höhe von der Spitze bis hin zum Absatz. D.h., dass sich der Schuh als Ganzes verbiegt, z.B. an Steigungen oder auf rutschigen Fliesen usw. Dabei entsteht eine Spannung im ganzen Schuh, sehr unangenehm. Leider habe ich das erst nach einiger Zeit realisiert, da war es zu spät für eine Rücksendung.Daher kann ich den Schuh nur im Büro tragen, auf ebener Fläche (Teppich). Dort ist er allerdings sehr bequem, da der Schuh gut gepolstert ist, so dass man die Absatzhöhe kaum spürt. Da man das Plastik ja zudem so nicht sieht, ist der Schuh insgesamt sogar sehr chic, zu einer Jeans wie zum Rock.Alles in allem reicht das aber für einen so teuren Schuh nur für 2 Sterne!

The media could not be loaded. Me gustaron mucho, el tacón es de 8 cm y el grosor del tacón es como de un dedo. Son muy cómodos la verdad y por dentro están suaves. Al principio me lograron incomodar pero llevo tres meses usándolos y ya se amoldaron a mi pie, además de que no me cansa traerlos todo el día. Los recomiendo mucho! La talla es tal cual, si eres 3, llegarán del 3.
