It was a reorder from previous year’s order but it came in less than before.The candy mix. was still good.

I bought this for the office candy bowl and my coworkers loved it. We've been eating it up like crazy without any issues of any candy tasting funny or being old. Once thing I noticed for complaints on this candy was the portion size which I can agree to. Twix is my favorite on the planet and there were less Twix than anything else in the bag.Another compliant I saw frequently from people on one end and satisfaction on the other was the candy being melted or smashed. I also checked the dates on all of those complaints and compliments and noticed that everyone that was satisfied had purchased their candy in the fall or winter so the candy was less likely to be melted and damaged when arriving. And everyone that was upset with their candy being melted or having a weird white coding on their candy was in the summer time months.For those that don't know anything about chocolate, if it melts and then cools again it can sometimes form that white film on it. This is not a product I would recommend at all being purchased in the summer time. If you do and you're upset with it being "smashed" or melted when it arrives then you only have yourself to blame for not using logic.As much as I love this great price for this product I will not be purchasing it until summer passes unfortunately. But this will be the perfect candy to purchase come Halloween time. I think the kids on my block will just love me.

I ordered this not knowing that the day it was to be delivered was forecast to be 98 degrees F (that's 98F for those of you that do temperatures in other scales. YOU convert it, I know what 98 feels like!). Anyway, I was positive I would come home to a box containing a bag containing a bunch of individual pieces of, essentially, chocolate liquid.Wouldn't you know it, these magnificent bastards packed the bag in a silver foil thermal bag (really, just bubble wrap that's silver on the outside and white on the inside, but impressive all the same), and not 1, not two, but THREE cold packs inside? Of course, the cold packs were melted. And the chocolates themselves (the 3 I tested) were easily moldable by pinching them, but by no means melted.I froze those cold packs, those things will come in handy. but order with confidence should you be in the middle of a 98°F heat wave!Update, July 2021: The pandemic hit. Basically all of my reviews will reference this. I hadn't ordered this item since pre-pandemic times (remember those? You could just go out, and, like, randomly hug people (CONSENSUALLY!!!), talk with 3 friends within a 4 foot radius, enter and leave the grocery store as you chose, with no more face covering than facial hair. Ahhh, those pre-pandemic days....Anyway, my workplace has allowed people to be around each other and (Please, don't downvote me for this if you disagree with me doing this), I'm vaccinated. So I'm back to the office, have been for a few weeks.I was always 'the snack guy.' I'm a feeder, it's a thing, look it up! I often got things like this and laid it out like a lazy household on halloween. Eventually (see below), everything gets enjoyed.The 'see below': I basically had to extort the office: No more new treats until the 3 Musketeers are gone. What do people have against them??? Sure, no nuts, or caramel, or nougat, or cookie inside, but it's darn well chocolate. Got a chocolate fix? I get you, one is never enough. But this kit seems over-endowed with 3 Musketeers. Take like 5 and see what that does! Actually, I'm going to start exhorting (good word, look it up, good word) my fellow post-pandemic team members to do this. I'VE done this after all. I hate having to wait 5 or 6 months to get more of 'the good stuff' to get another of these, but hey, if you get it before the 3 Musketeers are all cleared, you'll wind up with like 500 of them and nothing else.My latest order: gel pack inside, which I was excited about, but it was leaking, so had to toss it. I do not blame the seller. But the low capacity styrofoam cooler? I definitely kept that, and that's definitely going to come in handy, also at work.I know that things change with suppliers over time, but in this case, things got better. Maybe reduce the 3 Musketeers count, but I get why you do it, so I take nothing away for it.
