I purchased these boxes with the intention of using them to store certain pieces and for gift giving.The cardboard is neither overly thick or overly thin. For the price, the boxes are certainly of an acceptable quality and the cotton padding is generous.If mailing an item, I still plan to place it in a mailing container or wrap in some bubble wrap.

The boxes were a great amount of the different size varieties. I ship a lot of packages, this allows me to select the right package size for the piece. The only downside is the filler could be a little bit thicker but overall I would buy again.
