Before that my teeth were actually tight together and the only floss I could use was dental tape that was flat and slippery. It was great until my teeth were farther apart. Now that my teeth aren’t so tight together, I had to double the tape and regular floss to do a decent job at flossing. I had my latest dental appointment and the dental hygienist mentioned that I was missing areas of my teeth when I flossed. I’ve always been a flosser and my teeth are usually pretty clean. I’ve never been told that I’m missing places while flossing. The hygienist recommended this particular floss to help with the wider spaces. I like this floss; it does a great job at expanding so that it cleans between my teeth better. There’s a place in my bottom, rear molars that shreds regular floss and it sometimes gets stuck but this floss does not shred there. It does get a little stuck but slides out easier than the regular flosses. I don’t especially like the taste and wish there was a mint flavor but I’m getting used to it. I initially thought it was a bit on the expensive side but there’s a lot of floss. Plus the packaging is truly recyclable (except the inner plastic bag that holds the floss but at least the plastic is minimal). I like flossing; it makes my teeth feel clean and I like this dental floss. I miss the minty freshness of my former floss but it’s not a deal breaker. I would recommend this floss to anyone who has wider gaps between their teeth.

Ruined me for all other flosses. NOTHING cleans like this one - at least nothing else I’ve tried, including other “expanding” flosses (like Oral B expanding floss - which only expands AFTER you pull it out from between your teeth - ?ANY benefit over regular floss??). My absolute favorite floss. After so many dental issues and dental work since childhood, I am METICULOUS about brushing, flossing, and using my water flosser twice daily every day, and no other flosses cleans my teeth better and makes them FEEL noticeably cleaner. Best stuff ever. Just wish it cost less, but good dental health, especially if you’ve struggled with it, is priceless.

My wife turned me on to this product and it is great. On my most recent dental visit, my doctor said he was very pleased with my oral hygiene. I credit this floss with a big part of that success because the strength and texture of the floss helps you get a good grip and clean between your teeth. I also dig the faint scent of cardamom on the floss.

My dentist gave me a sample of Dr Tungs during my last visit and I immediately placed this order. This is by far the best dental floss I've ever used: not waxy, very strong and lightly flavored with cardamon. It comes in a unique paper dispenser that is lightweight and recyclable. I would rate this 6 stars if possible.

I'm sure there are people out there who enjoy flossing. I loathe flossing. I mean, I like the way my teeth feel after flossing, but I resent the time it takes to floss, and I usually remember right before I want to go to bed and am already sleepy. So, the LAST thing I want is a floss that snaps off, doesn't expand, and tastes like mint., ugh. Dr. Tung's is durable, gentle, and thankfully comes in a soothing cardamom flavor. Bonus points for the eco-friendly packaging. There's a schmoo of plastic on the inside, but they are trying. Hurray. Five stars.

This floss is easy to insert between teeth and is gentle on the gums . I appreciate how the floss spreads apart to trap food and bacteria and with its soft texture massages your gums as well .

This is my 2nd purchase of the floss. The floss while not as gliding, it does the job well and the most important part is that it’s free of the forever chemicals. Given that I floss a few times a day, this product gives me a piece of mind that I’m not swallowing some chemicals every time I floss.
