Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've used this product a few times to open up slow shower drains and for preventative maintenance in sewage line. Here's the great part!!! I have a high end vacuum and parrots. When vacuuming I inevitably suck up occasionally wet bird poop and wet foot that may be flung across the floor. Over the last year my beloved vacuum was struggling to even suck up a single almond even after changing the vacuum bag. I examined the vacuum nozzle and found an 1/8" crust all around the inside surface. I found the same in the vacuum hose. After some pondering I figure I'd break out the Green Gobbler. I grabbed a 5 gallon bucket and put it in the shower and filled the vacuum hose with Green Gobbler. I taped the ends of the vacuum hose up evenly so the GG completely filled the hose and threw the attachments in the bucket with GG and hot water. After about 4 hours I emptied the hose partially into the bucket so I could then carefully slosh the GG back and forth in the hose then poured some out into the shower. What came out was horrendous! I eventually just put the hose in the bucket with the hot water and Gzg and left it overnight. The next morning I rinsed everything out via the tub spout and everything looked brand new. I should mention that the attachments had been so caked up that not even scraping the insides with a flathead screwdriver would break the crud free. Bottom line, this stuff is amazing! One word of warning. Wear chemical gloves. Just take my word for it!

Stellar product. Be patient and let it do the work. My husband was worried that it hadn't worked overnight, but when he came home at lunch and checked it he was pleased to see it draining like it never has before. He did everything he could think of to unclog it. He hates plumbing and was so glad we wouldn't need to hire a plummer!

I have a kitchen sink that keeps getting clogged. The clog is not in the trap or the sink cabinet. The clog is further down, possibly in the main. The plumber came and snaked something in the basement, that cleared it initially, but within 3 weeks, water started backing up into my sink again when I ran the dishwasher. This time it got particularly bad - it would take a full day for a sink full of water to go down.I ordered this product. I drained the sink (with buckets, and then emptied the rest at the trap) so that the product could go into the pipes, and not dilute with the standing water. Then I poured the entire bottle in at night. I could see bubbles in the drain and could hear them in the trap under the sink, so I knew something was happening. Then the next morning I poured a big pot of boiling water down the drain. It went down!!!!Then I ran the dishwasher again. A small amount of water backed into the sink, and was gone within one minute. So it's way better!! I ordered several more bottles of this so that I can do it again, and clear the rest of the clog. Exciting!!!It's worth noting that I believe this is probably a residual grease clog, not hair or food, etc. We do not pour grease down the drain, but I do have a high fat diet and tend to put greasy plates/pans in the dishwasher. We also use eco-friendly dishwasher detergent, so it may be that the detergent wasn't enough for our greasy dishes. Live and learn.We have a puppy now, who has graciously offered to do our prewashing, so that should alleviate the problem over time.For the many reviews that say this doesn't work, I wonder if that is because they are pouring into a sink full of water, and thus diluting it beyond effectiveness. I also have no experience using it on hair clogs, so don't know if it will work in those cases.I wish people would stop saying that this product doesn't work. It does work. I'm a real person, not a paid reviewer.

I love this product. I can't say enough positive stuff about it. I always have it on hand. It has unclogged everything for me. From sinks to bathtubs to toilets. It works amazingly. It's like magic. It has cleared the hardest clogs I have ever seen. Ones that I never thought that I would be able to get to come unclogged, it has taken care of. I can't recommend this product more. I also use it at my cabin that has a septic system. Works great there as well.

So the block we had was going to be potentially problematic but wanted to give this a try. Unfortunately the blockage didn’t shift we have to rethink the plan. However this doesn’t mean the product doesn’t work I have still got faith in it ..... the company could not have been better when we spoke they were amazing and offered solutions and gave me a full refund as I wasn’t 100% satisfied, could you really ask for anything else. I will for sure use the green gobbler again for other clogs and blocks and recommend always.Thank you
Exciting product
Really got excited with this product.. had a clog for the past 6-8 months .. Tried many ways and finally this. Applied overnite, tried a flush in the morning but was not satisfied. But after a couple of hours, to our surprise the clog got removed completly..

Dopo che abbiamo avuto diversi ospiti per più di un anno, alcuni bidet, lavandini e docce non funzionavano più bene e avevo paura di gettare capelli e cose lì dentro anche se abbiamo chiesto loro di non farlo.Ho provato il Green Gobbler Ultima già per un bidet dove l'acqua ha impiegato secoli a passare, ha lasciato il prodotto per 24 ore e poi risciacquato con acqua calda: è andato via come un sogno! Inoltre: anche il bagno sembra essere sullo stesso tubo perché anche lì l'acqua è andata velocemente alla doccia successiva! Grande!Adesso farò tutte le altre in cui l'acqua non è defluita bene. I grabbed a 5 gallon bucket and put it in the shower and filled the vacuum hose with Green Gobbler. I taped the ends of the vacuum hose up evenly so the GG completely filled the hose and threw the attachments in the bucket with GG and hot water. After about 4 hours I emptied the hose partially into the bucket so I could then carefully slosh the GG back and forth in the hose then poured some out into the shower. What came out was horrendous! I eventually just put the hose in the bucket with the hot water and Gzg and left it overnight. The next morning I rinsed everything out via the tub spout and everything looked brand new.
