Mingled amongst the hosts of five star reviews for this stationery I noticed multiple reviews stating that the embossing alignment was off, the paper weight was too low, there was a large sticker on the clear case making it difficult to give as a gift, etc. so I waited for this set with a bit of nervous anticipation.However, I can confidently say that nervousness was for naught. The embossing on the edges is uniform and clean, the paper weight is perfect and does not bleed, there is no sticker on the clear plastic top to make buying this as a gift complicated (at least on mine) and overall the stationery is a wonderful value for the money. I'm thinking of buying another one before I leave to New York in the next couple of weeks to write letters to family and friends with. The size is great as well. Not too small and not too large. While there are more sheets than envelopes, I anticipate writing a few two-page letters anyways so that ratio is great for my purposes.Just bought this set in blue to give as a gift to another letter-affectionate friend. Would and am recommending this set.

I bought this stationary for my boyfriend. It is perfect for writing personal letters and features a classy design on the paper with matching envelopes. This is definitely a great deal and good quality stationary. He has never had any problems with it; the paper is not of cheap quality and does not smear or smudge ink or pencil. Although used for personal stationary, it is also very professional looking and could be used for personal notes of a professional.The feminine designs of the Letter-Perfect Stationary are also very attractive and of the same quality. I own two of the feminine designed stationary sets for myself. I just wish that they would put out a few more masculine designs for some variety.

This is nice paper. My 4-star rating may not be fair because I am withholding one star over the size of the paper, which I knew when I ordered it. I want nice 8 1/2 X 11 stationary and cannot find it. Everyone seems to sell this smaller size. I am frustrated because of that. There is nothing wrong with this paper except it is not as large as I want.

The Black and Cream Stationery by Peter Pauper was one of the best purchases I've ever made. This product is great for any occasion, formal or not people will love the texture of this masterpiece!The only issue I had with this product was the sheet to envelope ratio. The Black and Cream Stationary provides 30 sheets and 24 envelopes. It's kind of bothersome but there are still many positives.One of the many positives of this product is it's price. High quality paper and envelopes for a pretty affordable price. The texture of the paper is amazing <3 ahhh It feels so pristine! The product arrived rather quickly so that is another bonus!Overall this product deserves 5 stars because of its great value. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to brighten up someone's day. The texture and feel of this paper is really superb and makes it even more of a steal.

A plain, simple, attractive, no frills stationery, which is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for casual correspondence. Seems to be very fountain pen friendly. [Disclaimer - I'm not an expert on pens or paper of any kind; just a hobbyist]. I tried it with five different bottled inks and it took up all of them very well, better that I'd expected. All of them dried very quickly. No smearing at all except for with one pen that has a somewhat wet, flexible nib which puts down a lot of ink - just needed a few more seconds drying time and was just fine. Thanks for reading, JC.

I don’t write too many letters these days, thanks to e-mail, but several of my older siblings are technophobes so I keep them up to date with a detailed letter periodically. I love this stationery for its elegance—I just feel that receiving a handwritten letter on classic paper adds a little something to the ordinary. Also, I have to say, I’m old enough to greatly miss the coziness and, sometimes, the deep thoughtfulness of the letter writing of my younger days (I just ran across a trove of letters from a friend from years past and what a treasure). We just can’t seem to be as careful in a digitized format. Maybe if we all bought lovely dignified stationery and chose one person a year to write meaningfully to we might discover something wonderful. This notepaper would be a good start.

I love this stationery! I have several pen pals, so I write a lot. I wanted stationery that looks and feels dignified and elegant without distracting from the letter itself, and it fits the bill perfectly. It's affordable, has a quality look and feel, but isn't cost-prohibitive for everyday use.I wouldn't recommend for special uses... If you're going to send your CEO a letter, write your congressman, send a congratulatory note or maybe a thank-you to a very special person, spend the extra money and get some Crane & Co. stationery. But for everyday writing, this couldn't be more perfect.

Inaccurate description
The exact measurement of this paper is 19.5cm not 21cm in length. I was going to feed this paper through a printer so the measurement was important. Disappointed.
