You can compare it to the Kikkoman miso soup(more expensive) packets, and honestly, I think I prefer this one. The flavor is so spot on, with the perfect amount of umami. It smells incredible when you make it too, like something you'd get at a good Japanese restaurant.The miso paste dissolves smoothly, and the little packets of toppings are a nice touch. Makes really good instant miso. This is as good as restaurant quality miso. I have gone to Japan and it’s almost the same. The seaweed texture is on point and love how’s there’s a lot of seaweed. I loved also the different types of veggies from green onions to spinach. Also only takes like 2 mins to make that’s the best part. Only down side is might be kinda salty if you do not add enough water.

I enjoyed this soup, it was easy to prepare and tastes good. I like that it comes with a variety of flavors and I can mix some rice or noodles in this soup. I did use 4 packets because 2 packets wasn't enough for me.

these are great to have around, especially for camping, bike hikes, etc. packets weigh nothing, combine with hot water (and i prefer to add soy sauce and rooster sauce), let steep (i use a little plate to cover the bowl) and you've got a delightful bowl of miso soup in minutes!
