These require either loose/cut-to-size speaker wire or something with a pin plug. I purchased a “Banana Plug to Pin Type Plug” to wire everything up to my record player that accepts banana-type plug.Unfortunately, I did end up returning these due to hearing a tinny edge to the sound—which I didn’t think I’d notice, but I did. For the cost though, these are phenomenal and they don’t sound bad, they just aren’t for the discerning ear.

Not bad at all! After upgrading from a 5.1 Onyko to a Sony 7.2 I needed another pair to add on. I currently have JBLs and these didn’t sound too far off from those. In terms of build quality they are almost identical. The highs and mids are clear using 14 gauge speaker wire. Don’t hear any distortion, muffling or static. Having needed these for just that it, gets the job done! They really helped add that extra dimension of sound offered by a 7.1 or 7.2 setup w/ 360 audio or Dolby Atmos. Little to no bass but these aren’t built for that. That’s what a subwoofer is for. So if you need to replace a pair of satellite speakers or add on to a current setup but don’t wanna break the bank, these do great! Obviously if you’re an audiophile you’ll wanna spend some extra coins. But even then, I think at this price point they would appreciate what these little guys can do.

Worked well to replace blown out Logitech Z-2300 (2008 area) speakers. These handle volume better (probably due to the higher wattage rating) but sound a little less "full" than the Logitech's.

These filled in the left channel of my custom surround sound build. The two I had were starting to crackle. When I watched movies. Or played games. It annoyed me. After looking and researching for a bit. I found these. And pulled the trigger. They are heavy. And they are very nice speakers. They came with all the fixings for mounting. And they look great. Nice and clean. But even better. They SOUND awesome. These along with my subwoofer. Has boosted my audio to new levels. If I could get another pair (which I’m REALLY contemplating. ) to mount to the right side of the room. It would be amazing. But I’ve got a couch over there. Which reclines. That would cause issues I think. But. If I EVER figure out how to do it. I’m gonna. These rock!

The sort of mount type given on this speaker is not useful if you plan to use this as a ceiling-mounted Atmos speaker. It is best if they offered a screw hole for mounting.

These speakers are AWESOME! I cannot begin to tell you the difference these speakers has made for my computer desktop sound system.I purchase the Logitech Z-2300 sound system some years ago. These speaker are far superior than the ones that came my Logitech Z-2300. In summary,when the speakers on my Logitech Z-2300 gave out, I purchase another Logitech sound system and returned it because of the inferior sound quality. I paid $160.00 for that system and was thoroughly disappointed. I compared the specifications of these speakers with those in my local computer store. I noticed that most of the speakers in the store are only about 15-30 watts per channel. These speakers are 100 watt per channel. The watts makes a huge difference.When I finally received these speakers, I used the existing cord that went from my sub woofer to the left and right speakers. Once I had disassembled the old speakers, I cut the wire at the soldering points on the speakers. Once the wires were clipped, I pulled the wire out of the old speaker casing. Then I strip the end of the wires and plug them into these new speakers. The sound is crystal clear. Another thing that I like about these speaker is that I get great sound quality without having to turn the volume all the way up.I spent $28.88 for these speakers. I am very pleased to say the least. There was only one thing that I considered a negative: The exterior of the speakers feel very rough to the touch. You would expect the finish to be smooth. This is only a minor concern. The speakers look great with my existing system and as I already stated, the sound quality is excellent.I hope this review helps you in making your decision to buy.

I am building a 5.1 system for my small studio. I was running a pair of crappy center channels for my surrounds. After reading a ton of reviews and looking at several price points I decided to go with something inexpensive. These had great reviews but I was definitely skeptical because of the cost. After about two weeks of use I am beyond happy with them. Each speaker is small but fairly heavy and feel well made. The sound produced is crisp and clear. You might not want these if you have a large room or have hundreds of dollars to spend on a pair of speakers but if youre like me and dont wanna break the bank these are perfect. The brackets work great or they will fit on a shelf no problem.

For the price I don’t know what you’d expect. I’ve owned these for a few years now and I can say I do not regret my purchase. The sound isn’t bad and my kids have dropped them repeatedly and finally broke one. I opened it up and it was the magnet that came unattached from the falls. I put it back together and no problems since. Good for the money for sure.

Very surprised and impressed with clarity and punch - Recommended
Delivered 4 days early - Thanks Bolo ! Initially I was underwhelmed by the size of the speakers, actually considered sending them back without unpacking. I am very pleased that I didn't and installed them instead.I set them up as rear surrounds on a fairly small Theater room - approx 5m x 5m with Klipsch 3.1 system at the front - 10" sub, with towers either side of TV. These small units were then set up using the microphone system that most receivers have to determine the best listening volumes. What a surprise. The Acoustic Audio speakers fit in as surround units perfectly (and surprisingly) - They have punch and a great tonal separation for such units. I fully recommend these little powerhouses !
Great Sounding Surrounds
I'm using these two tiny compact speakers for Dolby rear surrounds connected to my marantz cinema 70s av receiver. They are of very good build quality and sound amazing.

Great value
Not the best speakers, there is no bass to speak of so your subwoofer will have to pull its weight (and your crossover frequency has to be set right). However, it is great for its price and proves to be competent satellite speakers. A great buy for a budget home theater setup.
