Yes, this blender will make Muscle Milk protein shakes with crushed ice like a champ. This hand blender is an exceptional buy for its performance and features at a cost of under 14 bucks. Two blending speeds, a detachable blade stem for easy cleaning and a nice graduated clear plastic tumbler, perfect for making shakes or smoothies. This blender works flawlessly for those purposes if you use crushed ice - not whole cubes.My old hand blender from 1992 finally died and I wanted a new one just for the purpose of making protein shakes. I was concerned that the product details for this model stated "not for crushing ice", but it was the same size and power rating as my old one that had worked for 25 years. For the price, the Betty Crocker was worth the chance, because it was cheaper than the lowest cost hand blender for sale at my local Walmart.If you are looking for a hand blender for making protein shakes, just buy this one. You won't be disappointed. The crushed ice dispenser on my refrigerator spits out small to medium sized chunks (larger than the bagged crushed ice at the grocery store) and this blender handles them with no problems. I wouldn't try whole cubes though, as the bell that surrounds the blade is thin plastic and could possibly crack if a large cube got jammed into it. Don't worry about the one minute use warning either. One minute of use on full power is more than enough time to fully blend a smoothie or protein shake. The instructions advise that after one minute of use on full power, give one minute of rest. Typically, you are going to pulse blend a smoothie or shake, so you shouldn't find the need to run this blender for a full minute at high power anyway. If you want this blender for making soups or sauces, check other reviews, but I would expect that it will do a fine job for that purpose too.The best feature besides its performance is the fact that the blending wand detaches from the power unit for cleaning - that's awesome!I have used this for a couple of months now, and it works like a champ. I am confident that it will be reliable for many years.

My old Braun hand blender was literally falling to pieces, so it was time to replace it. I did some research, and discovered that the Betty Crocker hand blender was #2 on the best hand blender review list--over several well-respected and expensive brands. Since I wanted to keep my purchase under $30, I was very happy to find that this model was so highly rated.I have used it three times and can report that it does a very nice job and is easy to use. I like the removable shaft for easy cleaning, but it is also the reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5. The locking mechanism that keep the blender together is only adequate, and if I turn my hand while blending something thick (ice cream while making milkshakes) the pieces come apart too easily. It is the only complaint I have about this appliance, but it's enough of a problem that I have to dock that star. I don't want to return the item because I like it very much otherwise, but it is something the manufacturer needs to consider changing going forward.

I love, love, LOVE this blender! I had used a different blender for years and it finally broke- I went to replace it and realized how expensive it was. In the process of looking, I saw the Betty Crocker brand blender and thought I would give it a try! It works amazingly! It blends so well and quickly too! I use it to purée soups, mashed potatoes, and more. I am beyond impressed with it. It is so easy to clean too! Honestly, this works significantly better than my old one from the other brand. This one works better and is so inexpensive!! I love it so much that I will be buying more of them to give as Christmas gifts.

Wow I didn't expect it to be as big and as powerful as it is for the price that I paid for it! I can always count on Betty Crocker products! It has been great so far. Considering its size it is not heavy at all and this design is Sleek and pretty enough to keepon my kitchen counter! Now it's time to make some cream of broccoli soup!😊

The blender is great: mixes well, easy to clean. The beaker is inferior; it developed vertical cracks after only a few uses. I've bought plastic tumblers at the dollar store that did the same. Because the blender is long and sturdy, the beaker should be the same. I now use 20 oz. drink cups with the blender.

Me sorprendio que trajera vaso de 600ml muy bueno y apto para lavavajillas me encantó se ve de muy buena calidad (compre color blanco) y funcionando muy bien hasta el momento ademas de un super precio

This baby is powerful!! The manual says not to run it for more than 1 minute consecutively so you don’t burn out the motor, and let it rest for a few minutes before blending again. So I thought it would take a while for me to blend my soup, but let me tell you, 60 seconds was enough to blend the whole pot!!I was also worried it would spray hot soup at me but it did not. I had a fun and safe soup experience.The blender works wonders and is super easy to clean. The blade attachment is removable so you don’t have to worry about immersing the electric part, you can just wipe that end down with a cloth. Very pleased with this purchase, especially for the price! I’m gonna make SO MUCH SOUP

I wanted a hand blender but didn't want to pay an arm and leg - this fit the bill. The first one I got was broken in the box - it looked like a return had been put back on the shelf and sent out again. Bolo sent another immediately and I returned the damaged one. The new one was perfect. It is not cordless so seems to have the right amount of power to blend everything I use it for in literally seconds. With two speeds, this is a serious ergonomically designed ease to clean and handle hand blender. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a cord.
