This product arrived in one day. Installation was not difficult. There are step by step videos on YouTube that show how to do it. My washing machine was a GE. Model # GTWN4250D1WS. However, this part works in several other GE models.

Have a GE washer machine (ghwn4250d1ww), and second time I had to fix an always full water fill problem.First year within warranty, GE replaced the water fill sensor and main electronics board at the same time.Eight years later, had the same always full water fill problem occur again. Looks like a main electrical line short/surge is being sent into the house, and since the washer machine is likely the only electronic item not on a surge protector, the washer machine was affected by the surge.This time, I replaced each part individually, tested and replaced the water sensor first. No change. Replaced the main electronics board, this fixed the problem.The serial/date number/code also seems to show a more recently manufactured part. All other part numbers are identical.

your was fine...found out it was the washing m/c was wrong..so we had to buy a new w/machine....so would like to return item un toched .Once again would like to returne the same item which was ordered 2 times as it arrived after we had ordered a new awashing machine.

This WH12X10614 circuit board works fine in our GE clothes washer (GTWN4250DOWS). This board fits many models and even different brands. Our old board was working in fits and starts and was a bit confused about spin drying. Thank you to other reviewers reminding us to transfer the "jumper" from the old to the new board. The jumper serves as a simple way to change the program of the board from one clothes washer model to another. The jumper is the white block with the wire loop at its top, located in the top right corner of the board (see picture). Silly me, I imagined pulling the actual wire loop out, but the jumper is a block or plug that simply unsnaps from the board for easy transfer. The board was delivered at a good price of one hundred dollars although it took awhile for delivery. But it's not the first time I've worn dirty clothes for ten days.

The "start" button on my washing machine failed -- the internal "micro switch" apparently broke. It seems odd to me to place a start button over such a tiny micro switch -- at least on a "heavy duty" appliance. I suppose the cheaper repair option would have been to buy a cheap switch and solder it in to replace the micro switch. But money wasn't the issue, so I just bought the "control ASM" and the washing machine works fine now.You can test to see if your micro switch is to blame by touching both wires leading in and out of the micro switch with something like needle nose pliers, or perhaps some tweezers. If your washing machine "jump starts" from this action, then you know the switch is bad (if the machine wasn't starting at the press of a button).
