I’ve always thought my hair resembled a horse’s tail. It is very thick and coarse and frizzy. For most of my life I’ve only washed my hair once weekly and I’ve never needed dry shampoo because my hair just does not get oily. I’ve never really liked using products but this past year, since hitting my fifties, my hair has gotten even frizzier. So I turned to YouTube for tips on reducing frizz. How I made it this long without anyone ever telling me I should be putting oil in my hair, I don’t know. The first few products I tried didn’t seem to penetrate my hair at all or made it feel like cotton candy the next day. But then my Mimosa Hair Honey arrived and my life was forever changed!!! I can’t believe the difference after one application. I’ve been using a little bit daily for the past 2 weeks and I’m in love. My hair retains the pleasant smell, is softer and silkier, but not greasy feeling. Using it on my air dried hair has a similar result as if I tried to smooth it with a heat tool or blow out. My hair has some wave, so it’s not as straight or sleek as if I used a straightening iron, but the effect on the frizz and manageability is similar. Wish I’d known about this sooner.

I wanted some thing that I could use as a hair mask prior to getting in the shower and this gets stuck in your hair. The weird honey chunks get stuck in all the fibers of your hair and are difficult to get out in the shower. But also, if you have thin hair like I do, the tiniest little bit made me super greasy, and I had to re-wash my hair. Overall, it’s not a bad product, but it did not work for me and I have very thin fine wavy/curly hair. I use their scalp oil from the same brand and I swear by it so I was disappointed when I tried this and it affected my hair so much so you really have to Test it and see if it works on your hair type
