The pilgrim women's dress and hat appear to be of quality fabrication considering it's a costume and the $26.00 price point at the time of this review. The one piece pilgrim dress runs a bit small - I'm 5ft 4, 104 pounds, and wear a size xs / sm (2-4). However, according to the reviews for this item, numerous customers recommended going up at least one size. Of course, costumes often run a bit small. Therefore, I ordered a medium which fit comfortably and cute with a nice long length that fell approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches above the floor. I'm not sure if the hat is a one size fits all, however, it was a good size and scale for my small - average size head. Also, the costume arrived quite wrinkled but can easily be removed using a steamer or iron. As well, the velcro used to secure the back of the costume's neckline is quite flimsy. I think the closure could have been improved using a button, zipper, hook and eye, or snap. I'm looking forward to wearing this costume which will certainly add a fun and festive pilgrim vibe to my Thanksgiving celebration.***** I personally think the hat looks much nicer tying the tie in a bow and tucking it underneath the back of the cap so it's not visible! *****

I loved wearing this costume. Had a fun time. It fit well and was comfortable. I wore it to a church costume contest, and my husband and I won the best couples costume.

Surpassed my expectations honestly. Ordered this and a costume for my son for Colonial/Revolutionary Days. Opened my sons costume and it was cute but scratchy and stiff so I expected the same from my costume but was very pleasantly surprised. Soft nylon fabric (like a thinner yoga pant). I am 5"10 and this went to just above my ankle so good length - ditto for sleeves. It was comfortable as I had to wear it and work hard/run around for 6 hours. Great pilgrim costume. Good for colonial days. One of the dad's mentioned this would be perfect for the crucible as well!. Great costume at great price.

This costume was almost perfect. The bodice was tight, however it did graciously state that before I purchased it, but it was still okay. No bonnet to be found and I ended up wearing a large bow in the back of my hair. October is Family History Month in the United States, so dressing up as your ancestors is perfect. Halloween costume makers please remember and make whole costumes including a hat or bonnet. The costume needed to be steamed before wearing which took some time because it had very strict instructions on the care of the product. Which is very nice of the manufacturer to do that! I'll try to loose a little before I wear it again because it is a very stately costume. I was in the finals, but got beat out by a Zombie who was a professional actor.

I ordered this for an event where I read about the first Thanksgiving. The dress has a built in apron attached as well as a cap. It fit perfectly and was a real hit. Well made for the price.

This costume is great..I didn't like however, that there was 2 stains on the front of the dress so it is obviously used. Luckily I am going to dirty it up for my costume but wearing the pre used hat kinda freaks me out.

I was surprised by how nicely this was put together. The hat is very authentic, as is the outfit. It fits well and is comfortable. The quality is nicer than I expected. There are no parts to worry about coming undone, as it is all one piece. A secure and fun outfit.

As a primary grade teacher, I wanted a costume that was affordable, comfortable enough to wear for a full day of teaching, and fit in with our grade’s Thanksgiving feast. This fits the bill! Though of course not historically accurate, everyone who saw it knew what I was supposed to be. I got many compliments! Sleeves and skirt length were long enough for my 5 foot 8 inch frame. The hat fit well (unlike some reviews for other pilgrim costumes). It held up to a full day of Thanksgiving activities and looks good as new. Glad I purchased this and would buy it again.
