I ordered this Carrom for my kid. But the surface is so rough that the striker does not even travel half way through the board. Horrible Carrom I have never played on such. Plus using the given powder makes it even worse. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Waste of my money.

I had to return mine because it didn't work as promised. There was some black soot like deposit on the surface when I opened the packaging. Or may be paint dust of some type. Because of this, a gameplay was impossible. There was just so much friction that no amount of effort would make the game playable. I spent hours wiping the soot, then applying carrom powder and repeating the process, to no avail.The packaging reminds me of medieval tradesmen - crude and manual. Looks like modern manufacturing technologies do not exist for this company.Anyways, giving 3 stars because the board was delivered without any damage and for many in US, this is the only practical way of getting a carrom board. As for me, I went and picked one from local Indian store.

This carrom board is sturdy and good for children. It is a little rough, needs some fine chiselling especially at the bottom but it is an excellent game that keeps the kids occupied and away from their digital devices. My grandchildren are little yet they love it.

Very rough. I expect a carrom board to be smooth enough for the coins to glide over. This board is far from that kind of quality.
